This has happened to me several times as well. Hello:) I also experienced a crash the first time I hit the "next turn button" after a reload. I went back to the main menu from within a game, reloaded a saved game (not an autosave). When i hit the next turn. the game crashed to desktop. Hello:) I have also noticed that characters (recruited heroes) do not have an equipment button until I physically give them an item by clicking and dragging an item from my sovereigns item list to their portrait. Even if they already have a weapon or armor. If I give them an item the hero will then have an equipment button below their portrait that I can access. UPDATE: BETA 3C With the new update (BETA 3C) the g ame no longer hangs at loading screen. I have been able to succesfully start a new game. Thanks to the DEVs!!! On a related note, to see the developers of a game opening a forum like this to address problems BEFORE the release of a game is AMAZING! TCores: To answer your question I am not sure if my router has a firewall enabled. As I understand all routers act as incoming firewalls in some sense. I have a NETGEAR CG814WG, if that helps. I think I can create exceptions in the router settings using "Port-forwarding" but I would need explicit directions from the DEVs pertaining to Elemental and/or Impulse in order to do that.
