CariElf: Yes, I did update my video drivers. I am running a Radeon HD 4600 and just yesterday installed the newest drivers from the ATI site. The drivers are dated 5/5/2009 v.8.620. If you know of any more recent ones then that please let me know. I also went to the ini file and both lines are set at 1024 and 512: MaxTextureAtlasWidth=1024 MaxTextureAtlasHeight=512 Is there any other reason the texture atlases are failing to load? Thanks

Having similar problems. See my main post for details and reports: https://forums.elementalgame.com/386702 I also get yellow bar and black bars above and below with choppy sound and stuttering graphics. The game will not move past opening screen. Buttons do not highlight and I cant select anything. I have waited for a full 30 minutes on opening screen and it never loads. I have to use restart button on computer to get out.

How do you run the game in windowed mode? My game is also crashing/hanging at load and I have to use the restart button on my rig to get out. And then I also diabled the firewall completely. No luck with eitheir of those two methods.

The previous Beta worked fine, except for graphical issues. But the new .805 Beta has crashed/hanged on loading screen everytime since I updated Elemental using Impulse.
