seanw3 I just want to say you're awesome for making these mods! I know the primary motivation is that you want to make the game better for your own enjoyment, I do that with GalCiv 2, but for sharing your work with us, you're just awesome!
Master's Affliction is designed for expert 4x gamers. It offers a better RPG progression for your characters. It makes the world a seriously dangerous foe. City leveling has a massive level of specialization. Leveling cities high is as powerful as city spam, making each a viable choice. It increases the types of viable units in the game. FE has two unit types: Heroes and Troops. Master's Affliction has five: Sovereigns, Heroes, Troops, Summ
Goetia will be made for the vanilla game, and since Stormworld is as well it will be included in the pack. I' certain seanw3 will do a version for this as well, but he'll have to confirm that.
Great! :D You guys are awesome!
But will the Goetia mod be merged with Master's Affliction? Or with Stormworld for that matter (now that Heavenfall is reading)? I'm hoping for at least one, ideally more mega-mods to choose from, which will include all the awesome features developed by you guys (like the Goetia mod).
Yes the $10 discount for WoM owners was only for the pre-order of FE. I got WoM in March 2011 and pre-ordered FE for $29.99.

But bear in mind, these are unofficial builds off my home PC between playing XCOM.
I volunteer to test anything as long as it doesn't need DirectX 11, as my card doesn't support it. You're not gonna give me your cooties, right? [e digicons]XD[/e]
Island Dog just posted the link to this: http://www.gameinformer.com/games/elemental_fallen_enchantress/b/pc/archive/2012/10/25/elemental-fallen-enchantress-review.aspx
Brad also said he thinks this is a problem caused by the way Nvidia card do... something. He said they'll take a look after release, which is now. It's clearly an engine problem, I hope they fix it, it's quite annoying and off-putting. The worst I got was 12 FPS with outlines off, which is quite alarming.
Damn you metacritic and your incompatibility with my computer!
It knows you're a fanboy, that's why it won't let you create an account. [e digicons]XD[/e] It would be cool if it also could recognize idiots, maybe then the scores would actually mean more.
Players reviews, at least on Metacritic, are not to be trusted. The problem is indeed the one Brad pointed out, people try to influence the overall score. For example, Galactic Civilizations II Twilight of the Arnor has a 7.9 user score on Metacritic, which I find to be revolting. One guy even says he doesn't even like 4X games. Then why bother? I don't actually believe in a score system for games, because each game is different and has good things and bad things. Some people
So, Brad, now that the game is released, maybe after the first patch, you guys can take a look at that engine issue you were talking about? :) Sales seem to be good so far, so that's a good sign.
I loved dynasties in WoM. Could you die of old age? I don't remember that...
Yes! Good review. As to the reviewers credibility, I don't mind. If I were a reviewer, I would only have posts/reviews for Paradox, Stardock, and the occasional indie. That's just where the good games are
While I fully agree with you about Paradox (I own most of their titles) and Stardock (I own WoM, FE, GalCiv II and Demigod), there are plenty of good AAA games, Mass Effect and Skyrim being
Yes yes great article but why did that guy only review 3 games, and all of them Stardock titles? I mean his credibility is... meh. He doesn't have to convince me, I own both Elemental games, but just saying.
Thats going to do nothing for FE as it already sets that flag.
Oh sorry then. I know I use it with great success with Paradox titles, and I just assumed it's the same issue. My mistake.
That doesn't necessarily mean top sellers of today, does it?
I think it does. It gets updated hourly or so.
Any chance we can get our Free copy for 2010 buy in, on Steam?
No. You get it in your Stardock account. You can't transfer products from your Stardock account to Steam. They said this might be possible for future games, but not FE. You can use Stardock Central for automatic updates.
Froyboy posted something about FE being the top billed game of the day already... something change?
Go look for yourself on http://store.steampowered.com and click the Top Sellers tab. It's still very good, given the amount of traffic Steam has. EDIT: I remember when GalCiv II was the 3rd most sold game on Steam for a couple of days, during last summer&#
As of now, FE is the 9th best selling game of today on Steam and 2nd on Impulse. That's good. EDIT: Update.
Or you can just download this: http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php Open it, select your .exe, and it does everything for you.
Stormrealm sounds good. But "World of Thunder" sounds better I think. You should also update your features list to make the mod more attractive to new comers (to the mod) like me :)
You can use it because you have the 6 mana required. The monster AI can't use it because it has no mana. The whole point of giving these creatures hurl boulder was to help control kiting.
You're probably right.
I use an Earth Elemental in .992 and Hurl Boulder works just fine. Maybe your .xmls are messed up?
So Brad, I'll just ask again: Is the AI capable of using these spells to terraform the land to its advantage?
This is the first time I see this bug. So building an altar queues it in the nearest's city build queue, but when upgrading the altar to a shrine, the upgrade takes place instantaneous, and the free elemental summons immediately. I'm playing as default Oracle Ceresa with Resoln. I have last played Resoln in .983 and haven't encountered this bug.
