You can learn them and make it through the game with some effort. I agree that the memory leaks and save problems need to be addressed, but I didn't stop playing MoM or AoW due to crashes. Hardcore gamers don't let little things like this stop them. Not saying you have to be har

I am convinced this is impossible to fix. There is now way in hell they are choosing not to fix such an annoying problem. It must be a deep issue with
I think you should try some mods that are around, some of them make game extremely rich and very challenging.
I'd say road bugs and most movement bugs are unimportant compared to everything else. Just learn what's what and deal with it.
I am not sure which settings you are playing, but i like to play ironman on ridiculous and miss-click means game over. Somethings you can learn and adapt, some keep surprising you. Should i save before i move each unit? Do i have to save at the beginning of each turn? A
Sean: i hope this mod will be compatible with the other one. Seriously, i think you both guys should just prepare a full-fledged DLC :)

To avoid it never end turn with your heroes having enemy stack as a destination. It works like that: if you run out of movement points and you are one tile from an e
By the way, healing is great. It profits also with the damage to spell bonus, so it can go higher than 30. It saved my butt countless number of times ...
Flurry works. I did not test it yet for the very newest version though, in all other versions it worked as a dream. Yea, beast master is overpowered. But i like collar. I have never tamed anything really big though, like bear. And they are not that common. In past three games i found 3 of them, one per each game. My concern at the moment is that AI is loosing with the world. Best part of the mod is that you have to fight your way through the world to establish you
Ok, that's last time i am reporting those bugs. It would be nice, though, to hear from devs - if you are fine with these bugs, judge them tiny and unimportant, just tell us. It becomes tedious to report the same bugs over and over again. Some of those bugs go back to WoM.... - fights on the road - roads are ignored when fights take place on a road. So if fight is in the forest through which road goes it costs you 2 mp. I understand that that you should charge something extra for a
Regarding: beast lord. i do not use it ever, i like challenge :) Regarding poison: it is useless. It would be nice to re-think it to be useful somehow. Damage never scales and soon 1-2hp/turn is nothing. Even 8hp/turn is bad.
Has this never come up before?
It did, actually there was a time you could put your city whenever you wanted. It led to unlimited city spam where entire map was basically covered in cities. Speaking for myself, I like it the way it was solved.
What's even worse is that -50 resistance would mean you take 100% more damage. So either the weakness increases it by 200% or you can only get 50% from the immunity. I'll let you know which one I decide.
I am not sure, if there is understanding here. If i take immunity to cold, and then weakness to cold, then i balance my points and i have 50% immunity to cold for free. Ok, sorry, i got it, my
When I look at the tooltip in my saves it only shows me AI level of difficulty, it does not show me the world's difficulty. When i got a moment i will look into xml files, i have no modding experience, but i worked in the past as computer programmer, so i hope i can decipher them :)
Sean: - 200 gold per person for unit's upgrade (from 3 soldiers to 4) is too much. If i want to upgrade spider or wolf to 4 it costs 600 gold .... 100 gold per person would be ok, though i think perfect is 50 gold per extra troop (game, after all, encourages big armies, if i have like 10-15 groups to upgrade it just costs way too much) - regarding difficulty: i played, by mistake, hard/hard settings. AI has big problem to develop at all at 'dense' monsters. I have
Sean - question: i have problem with the difficulty settings... This "Chuck Norris" difficulty shows up for me between hard and expert. What is it? I also realize that description of difficulties do not fit, so hard shows a tool tip saying "expert difficulty is ... ". Another question: how can i check what world difficulty i am playing with? Since i am playing dense monsters i find hard/expert difficulty for world/AI's is my comfort zone, but i am not sure b/c of what i wrot
I have seen it, even reported it already :)
Actually i just realized that my difficulty settings are messed up: there is Chuch Norris appearing somewhere in the middle. So when i choose expert, a description is shown for insane ... So i think that instead of playing experts i was playing insane.
Thanks for explanations. I have to test new skills etc. to see. I just started new game, since the other one i started some time ago, and is getting far too slow ... Verga had good path so he good enormous hp and all the special abilities were very cool. Well, so far i started three new games on expert/expert/dense and i think i have to change setting because i am immediately surrounded by unbeatable troops .... Basically nowhere to go. Couple of remarks: - arcane bolt - in description has %d of damage - sweep and whirlpool - at certain turn it has appeared suddenly a long pause (around 10 sec) after animation and before a damage is calculated. Recently i have re-installed game completely (just upgraded to win8), and the error remains. If I, however, start a game from scratch then it works normally. - I am around turn 200 and the lag is really, really ugly, and I got a good pc. It also cru
Sean - i have found a bug, I think. I am happy you can choose to upgrade your unit to bigger troop but i am not sure: - i can upgrade even shadow warg and have a group of them - when i am upgrading my troops i am paying only for citizen and guildar, i am not paying for their equipment (metal, crystal); this can be easily abused
Those sovs that have surrendered sometimes have enchantments cast on them. I have situation that this sov has various enchantment cast on her that i have no access too, similarly they do not show up in the list of enchantments. The result is that they are free in maintenance, which is not overly bad thing :)
It should be a negative trait for custom faction: never happy - permanent unrest :)
Regarding permanent crush: Load game save it and load it from a new save - it helped me in one case

When your taxes are set to none, 10% of the citizens are still marching up and down Main Street, protesting the absence of government services and places of worship. I.e. no matter how low your taxes, you still get 10% unrest. You need a bell tower/tower of dominion/something to
