Same. I tried champions on horses again and it is agonising waiting for them to finish their animation even though nothing is happening. Simple battles take way too long.

I defintely think this important and a magic/no magic button for auto resolution of tactical combat. I hate seeing my sovereign lose 5 mana in a big party auto resolving combat with 2 spiders; it really bugs me. [e digicons][/e]
Are you going to be adding a button to disable magic in auto resolved battles? It's a real pain to have your sovereign use mana on a really easy battle. Thanks
Is it coming out this week though?
Shortcuts would be a huge asset. More shortcut keys for things like inventory and end turn. A key bindings tab in the options would be a great idea too. I am genuinely surprised there is no random map generator. To me I would have figured this would be essential in a 4x4. The ability to create user content does not make this unnecessary for an extended period.
Where are my keyboard shortcuts? I know some have been added thank you, like S for sovereign, T for trade, R for recruit and S for Shop. Want I desparately want is C for cast spell, I for inventory, E for end turn, or something for end turn, especially in tactical combat. Even better put in a new options item for key bindings. That would be the best. A few bugs. If you aim for a target in tactical combat that is out of range it locks up all the c
Try and do the right thing by people and they hold it against you. I thought you did the right thing be releasing the pre 0 version when the street date was broken, being that it was brought up to speed in no time, but alas people want the world and they want it now. Enjoy the break, your work has been stellar (pun intended) to this point and a holiday is deserved.

Or lack thereof...
Get thee gone already!
I am still living in hope that you'll surprise us and it will be available for download this weekend :)
Frogboy already said that beta testers and preorders will most likely get to download earlier to reduce server impacts on release.
I think it depends who joins the group first with the later additions moving to the back. This of course may change in the day 0 build.
It's always a painfully fun experience to fire up really old versions of software and wince at one's ineptitude. Best done with beer.
I hope the adventuring tech tree rises to the occasion; I am sure it will be my favourite.
Hope it doesn't, I have work to do which will be impossible if you put it out. [e digicons]:P[/e]
Are dungeons in 3A? Ihaven't found a dungeon to delve yet :)
Heh. Already done. Was thinking the same thing.
Your work ethic never ceases to amaze me! [e digicons]:omg:[/e]
I guess this might be too hard, but you could have different spawn locations, so animals spawn from the woods, monsters spawn from dungeons and ruins etc. Might give a little incentive for clearing out those dungeons near your city. Also you used the word attach instead of attack and I thought that would be really cool too, monsters joining forces into parties for self preservation. Leave too many wandering about and they might form up into an army.
To add to this you can't even cancel buildings in the queue to be built with this bug, says it will make the city non contiguous.
I got a square that went dark but shows the fog of war as the ground skin when you zoom in. It started happening as soon as a caravan created it's first road and then periodically occurs after. Moving a unit seems to correct the problem.
Tried to destroy some buildings but couldn't destroy anything: everyone came back with "cannot destory as city would not be contiguous". Didn't matter if it would be or not as it said that even for the ones on the very edge.
Same I got this too after just a few clicks.
The problem is I bit right next to 2 old growth forests but couldn't build on either. I don't think the build list was notified of the change... :)
Quoting Recnelis2, reply 206 Ahh that makes sense, so the more wisdom you have the more powerful spells you can obtain. Correct. Now, you can also hire Lore masters (by building monasteries and abbeys) to help increase this as well but your wisdom is what will ultimately make up a big part of it. A player that decides to crank up their other stats and lower wisdom to 5 is unl
