More great updates, keep up the good work! I still really want to know about the long mounted tactical animations though, if this gets through the next patch again I will be sorely disappointed.

I don't know if the fix is supposed to be in the current version of the beta or not, but mounted archers are still taking 3-4 seconds too long to finish their action. If it isn't live can we add it to the list?

Thanks for much for the update, Mr Paxton. [e classic]:congrat:[/e] I presume this will be going up next week given the Turkeyfest. Is there any chance of resolving the combat calculations to the list for resolved/unresolved? Also An interesting UI issue is the inability to see any most hero stats except on level up. It would be really handy to see them in the detail window. Cheers.

Can you put up these bugs as well (if indeed they are bugs and not "gameplay choices") [e digicons];)[/e] ? Damage floating text bearing no relation to actual damage Archer attacks causing general strageness (resists when adjacent instead of miss and a reported crash when ai was cornered) Champions in groups being non-recruitable and names changed to "Champion".

Dexterity should marginally affect combat speed or intiative when that comes out, and strength should marginally affect movement points. Charisma could provide a small generation of guildar, say 1 per 10 charisma over 20. I guess the prestige is nice but it seems pretty broken right now. That would make stats vastly more interesting to me.

When I try and recruit a group of NPC champions I can recruit the leader of the group but the other members are named "Champion" and cannot be recruited. It would be nice to have my rent-a-squads back.

Found another tactical bug just now. When you click on a target that is at the edge of your range it gives you an extra turn. e.g. a wolf is 3 squares away and your sovereign can move 2, your sovereign will move the two squares, attack and then have action points left over.

1) You probably already know about the damage bugs but I'll list them again for posterity. The damage comes up with a fairly constant value in terms of the floating text, however it is not the actual damage applied. Now with 3 stat points per level it makes the stat points less valuable, especially since you aren't competing with mana points, movement points, or combat speed.

I don't see the fix to mount animations in tactical battles being torturously long; unless of course it was cunningly hidden. Please tell me that is in this build... Also did you manage to get any new quests in? Specifically for levels 3 and up since there are almost none.
