Agreed. There is no way to make good AI with easy effort for strategy game.
Fixes are good but i don't like the way you change spells mana costs. You should increase the cost with each cast (i.e. 500 first cast, 1000 second time, 2000....)
I spend last weekend playing fallen enchantress and i would like to say thanks to devs team - the game is good. I played Elemental WoM 2 years ago and FE is a big step forward. Actually i beat small map with 2 opponents on challenging difficulty level by finishing epic quest (around 250 seasons). During the game i used to play with 3 heroes team. The main danger was wandering monsters, AI was good but die quickly. I had a feeling that all my cities and defending armies was useless. Al

sounds good. But you will face a problem when player will take only the best solution. In order to avoid this you should make every weapon and armor unique.
The middle market is probably most product dependent. The share could seriously shrink or grow based on expectations. I could make a game for lowest or highest market. Middle is like a bonus for your success.
This game does not need random events. There are a lot of randomn features in game already. Honestly i can't define a short list of things you need to change in order to make your game "cool". The main point is every aspect need to be reworked. According to your message 1.3 will be "beta" as well.
Only Abeix art is satisfactory. Other guys looks weird.

Since I'm not played Elementals from 1.06 i will try this patch soon. Again, i see a lot of items in the list (changes) but it is only bug fixes and balance, nothing really new exept for global mana pool. Also it is strange for me to balance half-finished product.
Can't see any changes. Still ugly "you". Still good vs bad. Bad guys are ugly (why?). Same factions with no real differences. The view of the world is still sucks for the "epic" strategy game (cloth map is much better for playing). So what was changed? Mana pool? Bugs? Is it all?
