Looking quickly at the debug.err file, there were 5 factions playing in the game, including myself. At the end of turn 1, there were 8 cities, so I'm assuming there were 3 neutral factions. At turn 180, when my game crashed, there were 34 cities. I had just built my third when the game crashed, so that leaves (assuming additional neutral cities were NOT formed since turn 1) 28 cities, or averaging 7 cities per AI. This seems quite to me, but it m

Hi guys. I was just about to build my third city with a pioneer when I got the Out of Memory error and the game shut down. I've noticed that the AI builds numerous cities, while I only seem to ever have 2-3 at a time. Maybe that's just my play style, but the AI seems to expand REALLY fast. Files can be found below. I can't think of anything that happened specifically out of the ordinary when it crashed. I clicked Next Turn and it just crashed. Perhaps the only thing I can think of that was different would be caravans that I had sent to other cities. I think they had made their roads beforehand, but I can't be 100% sure. It was really weird; the crash just seemed to come out of nowhere.
Same bug for me. No numbers appeared when they attacked, or were attacked, but the damage was shown in hit point losses if you mouse-over the targets.
Thanks for alerting me. When I check my ProgramData > Stardock > Elemental folder, the latest .zip there is listed at the 17th, but it's earlier in the day, so I don't think it is the one that I need. I'll post it up anyway; maybe it can help somewhere =) Okay, take 2 on the files... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8711029/debug.err And for the dump .zip file

Hey guys. I'm not sure if this is a bug, or intended. Whenever I start up a new game, I start with a city already in place, but my sovereign also has the ability to "found" their Kingdom, which creates another city. When you select this option, the game states that this city will be your "capital" city. Wouldn't the first, starting, city be your capital?
One thing that I kind of like in games like this is interaction with monster beyond the normal "attack" commands. Maybe a spell that allows you to "talk" to a monster and persuade it to join with you? The higher the monster intelligence, the harder it would be to convince it, but maybe you wouldn't need a spell to communicate with it.
