So, I don't have a 64 bit machine, and I don't feel like getting one anytime soon. Which contains me to 32 bit Elemenal. And because of that I feel uneasy - is it worse, dubbed down version? Is the game primarily developed to work with 64 bit machines? What are the real differences between versions?
1) It's usually the other way around: the 64bit version of games are often poorly supported, rarely work rig
The backstory for Elemental is something I've spent the better part of two decades creating. Random House has certainly been helpful in fleshing it out. But to accuse me of selling out or whatever is pretty insulting and frankly unwelcome. If you don't like it, you're free to ignore it. But it has nothing to do with "making a few bucks on the side". So much as it wasn't meant as a personal atta

I remember when we were being offered a dollar for every computer we could install the Google Toolbar on. I understand malware writers stopped trying to install "normal" malware and started installing Goole Toolbar instead - it just paid more.

You can build gardens without the technology that gives you gardens, which has to be researched separately. Meaning the tech is useless and ought to be removed, or made useful by not allowing gardens as a starting building. Gardens give 2 food. Researching the tech makes gardens give 3 food. So its not useless [/

So please consult the roundup before posting.
Don't know if you caught this. You can build gardens without the technology that gives you gardens, which has to be researched separately.
Because people on the forums didn't like that you got 10 points but everything went up in 0.1 increments. Really, not a whole lot changed. You used to be able to raise Strength by 1, now you can raise Strength by 1. What you could do before is raise Strength and Intelligence by 0.5 each level, and now you can't. But if you go 1 then 1, you wind up with the same thing in the end.
That argument works
Quoting kyogre12, reply 5 We can open HKB's? I didn't know that. IIRC, Scoutdog tried to open those a while ago, but was unable to, and later one of the devs said they need to give us a tool that lets us convert our models to HKB and vice versa. Do a Google search on "HKB File Extension" . There are other programs out there that can deal with them or maybe even convert them.
Hello RavenX, I don't really read posts with distracting levels of bold text. The trick to getting people like me to read things is to be succinct and to the point. Neon highlights are no substitute to good writing. No offense. A life spent being bombarded with advertisements has lead to eyes that naturally avoid looking at anything that resembles them.

It seems like there's a lot of us who are getting hit with Crash-To-Desktops here and can't play the game, or even get into the Options menu. Since the debug.err files aren't being generated it looks like Elemental might be short on information for Why. Even if you don't crash all the time, please post anyway, a couple samples from computers that are working "fine," can also help us narrow down system specs. So let's get our system specs together. Fill out the following sheet and writ

Note: on a reinstall, the game claimed to need 4+ gb of space to reinstall and refused to install to a hard drive with only 2 gb free, raising an "error" in the download manager screen. The game itself says it needs 0.99 GB of space.
If it was any other developer, it would be on both DD sites. Most "any other developers" don't have their own major DD outlet where they don't have to pay a cut to a reseller. While Steam fans tend to say that they buy everything there and don't know anyone who doesn't do the same, traditional retail still outsells DD by a huge margin. The war's just starting and it'd be plain silly to start handing Valve our money a

(Note: If you have similiar problems as described here, please post. I want to find out more about it.) The screenshot below illustrates a bug I have been having since 0295.
If this game comes out on August 24th of this year I will be surprised. For me, it is more likely to end up being Feb 11 2011. However, it is obvious that Stardock is hard at work.
Everyone at Stardock is working very hard and Wardell is calling good shots on sharply limiting the scope. It looks like an intelligent choice was made to focus the campaign as an RPG given the incomplete state of the game, allowing work to proceed. I too feel they won't make the Augu
And yes...I'm SURE there's legitimate [legal] users of Torrents too...however I am yet to see one in a Google search....
I spend a lot of time lambasting pirates and calling their motives into question. Two months ago I was even giving RavenX a difficult time about it. Obviously I don't pirate games. But Torrents are very useful. I download roughly 10 GB a month of releases of operating systems like CentOS and Debian for testing and evaluation. Pr
