Same problem using Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 with it's drivers.

I found you can get more than your 10 points when creating a faction. When creating a faction spend your points then uncheck one and change your race. It will recheck that trait while letting you keep your points from unchecking it. I kept getting a must build on open ground error message once. I moved a few tiles away and it fixed itself but I could later build improvements on those tiles so I'm not sure why I couldn't start a city there.

How do you find stones? I've gone through every loot I can see at my adventure level and been killing barbs and I can't get any.
