Oh, hadn't seen that. It looks pretty nice, and there doesnt appear to be walls on the other side of the city so perhaps the wall isn't actually connected to the city?

Hello, we know you can build cities but how about forts? I assume they would act like military starbases, just you would put them in key locations in an attempt to either force a conflict in that area or funnel the enemy to a different part of your empire. So are they in the game? Also, we know walls can be part of a city but can they be independant of a city? For example: Hadrians Wall, Antonine Wall, and the Great wall of china? Well we be able to construct such massi
Quoting Frogboy, reply 16I'm doing my best to try to get Intel to let us get a 64-bit version. We don't need any of the new features, just the 64-bit part. Would it help if we petitioned Intel to give it to you? I'm sure many of us forums users would be willing to write emails/letters to Intel
You write the petition and I will sign it. See we already have two signatures! GO! GO! GO! </p
of course, I think we would want supply lines available to let armies go further. Armies may have to setup camp to wait for supplies. Supplies would work similar to the way they do between cities. I think it would fit pretty well, and it would make it difficult to "steam-roll" the map as supplies would begin to grow thin. It would make large scale tactics very interesting as well. Sinc
Here's a mismash of ideas relevant to heroes. I suggest that as a random event a tournament is held where you can send your heroes off to. They disappear for a turn or two and then fight in one massive battle with all the heroes (though 1v1 ladders would also work these 1v1 ladders really favor certain types of heroes over another). No participant actually dies and everyone gains at least some experience. The winner(s) get their choice of a few random m

Reply to Governors in War of Magic

True, total war did not handle governors the graitest, but neverthless, I think Stardock could pull it off. Another idea could simply be that governors be a way of minimizing micro management. So Governors are not mandatory but rather you can put them in place over regions or cities and have them handle the micromanegent. (Think auto manage from Total war) You could then tell them they have free reign within certain contraints. (never build this, never do that, always keep the people
you know he also played the voice of Buck in Halo: ODST? i think most of the firefly cast did the voices actually, i was pretty impressed When I first played, I was like "Hey, that character looks a lot like Nathan Fillion! Hey! He talks like him too! Wait... it is him!" Jane/Adam Baldwin and Wash/Alan Tudyk (I looked his name up ) both did voices for ODST, and Tricia Helfer (Six from Battlestar Galactica) also did some voi

Pretender on the Rise: The people of this city are falling under the thumb of a local pretender, he believe HE can do a better job than you! Cause: Enemy espionage or prerequisite to thave the "Resentful of your rule" trait. Effects: Increased on unrest added to "Resentment", greater potential of revolt, etc, basically the same thing as "Resentful" but this would provide you with further warning when the loyalty of your city should trully be in question

Hate to sound like a broken record, but I agree with the above. Ofcourse I like the idea of sieges taking multiple turns so that I can have epic sieges that last for months or years. (not sure how much time passes per turn) Not to mention it would be amazing to siege a city and focus all your effort on, for example the farming districts, cut off the garrisons food supply and now it's a downhill battle.

I'm addicted to Stardocks games. Please Help? :) Now with that out of the way I would like to say hello to everyone on the forum. I intend to get this game on release (unless I preorder it before then). I absolutely love games like this, and I'm glad that Stardock are the ones making it. I do have a slight question though, do I have to pay all of it at once with preorder or is it like in-store preorder where I can pay half now and
