So as of last night I had no issues, data file went through fine, played the beta, etc. etc. Tried at least a dozen times so far this morning and nothing. Haven't changed any settings regarding the internet, Elemental is allowed past the firewall and I don't use a proxy. Logged into Impulse, all of it. And I'd really rather not try uninstalling the game to see if a reinstall works. Any advice?
Is there anything else that could keep the data file from downloading? Still not having any luck so far today.
Keep getting the data file is unable to download. Haven't been able to play it at all since last night. What is there is a massive improvement, I just wish I could play it [e digicons]:'([/e] Lost libraries also don't show up for me, and I've noticed when playing as a custom faction if you put any other custom factions on the map they automatically choose the same sovereign I do. Currently in the 1.09n beta creating a custom faction works for everything but map color. It is impossible to change the map color from its default, and it only seems to change when switching races. When switching races it actually appears that the map color just matches the skin color of the currently selected race. I'm reasonably sure this is a recent issue as I have other custom factions created before the 1.09n build without this problem. EDIT: S
