You should get a message about the spells cast, just like the messages about finished buildings etc. If you didn't, I suggest you check your settings and version of LH. Strategic spells are very powerful, maybe a bit too much so. An easy solution is to stay out of your opponents territory. Only invade when you can take a city/outpost that turn.
Last time I checked, you g
Fixed a broken AI unit design that was causing Peace Keepers to show up without weapons
I've seen this happens as well with another Altar unit - Athican Soldier IIRC. Hope this fix will solve the problem for all units...
So, he AI is using spells on the strategic map. Nice and cool. There are just a couple problem I noticed during my last playthrough: 1) You get NO notification when the AI is using spells such as Pillar of Flame or Falling Star; sometimes you don't notice/understand how your unit has been so critically wounded or has disappeared, especially when playing on cloth map. You DO get a notification for spells such as wither, freeze or city strategic spells. &n
The REAL world isn't fair. But video games can be, because of this thing called "game balance".
In fact it IS fair, since it even DOES warn you in the Shaman description... "Coal Stones seems like a minor spell... until it is used against you". Which is exactly what it does ;)
Ongr or whatever ? ;) Got this problem a while back with Abeix on the scenario map (due to a rare case of him being in an army and the map not allowing to spawn more than 1 ennemy). Getting Sunderer after punching to death a lone rock spider felt both rather cool and somewhat non-epic [e digicons]O:)[/e] This was supposedly fixed for Abeix. Don't know in this case...
Thank you ;) Keep up the good work, this game is awesome in itself and it keeps getting better [e digicons][/e]
I've noticed this several times by now: there is some problem with the tactical version of summon air elemental. The automatic 9*9 gust of Wind has several flaws, especially happenning on small and/or crowded maps with some impasssable terrain. The direction toward which ennemy units are pushed back seems quite random and has caused the following problem in several of my games: * Sometimes the units are actually attracted
Now, onto my fear: because this bug hasn't been fixed, I worry that the other bug Deorcynsse faced in my FE game will happen again: specifically, the worry that, when Deorcynsse is upgraded from a "Settlement" to another type of city, not only will it lose its awesome custom graphic (Boooo!) but it will also suddenly "Remember" that it's a city on a tile which has yields of 0,0, and 0, thus crashing all production and growth. I'll upda
Got Mausolos from the quest. Got Tuatha, Raza the Wild and Kasst from fame milestones. Nen & Gallowman didn't show up (yet). I never suceeded in Taming Ascian with this Amethyst collar - last game I actually saw her got killed by a Wildland Army before I could reach her... What about the 'ghosts' champions, like Corinne The Archivist (iirc) and the lightbringer champ ? I have never saw them as well...
Over nine thous... Ok, I'm already outside ! Don't have the exact count. But in short, I have the strong feeling I've spent too much time on LH, and yet, not enough...
That could work... However, I think the real problem here is that some quests are somehow 'tied' to the hero that started them - it is this one whose portrait shows up in the 'quest complete' screen and is awarded XP and reward, even if it is another hero that actually completed the quest. I think it happened to me on another quest, this time with loot (i think this was the 'The troll' quest where a hunter ask you to kill a troll, then comes for you)
It happened to me as well during Beta. (and I forgot to post about it... stupid me !) One easy way to reproduce this is: * Launch the quest with champion A and lose the fight. * The goodie hut is now gone, replaced by the remains of the yithril army. * Attack this stack with another army (in my case, I didn't wait for Champion A to fully recover. I think I had Champion B leading that stack, but honestly I don't remember.) * Win the second&
Well, at least you don't need to train your sovereign all the way through Loremasters 'til Innovation to have real out-of-the-box thinking... [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Noticed that too. Not sure if this is WAD or not; but any unit walking across these double-inferno cursed tile will also be hurt twice .
Fixed an issue where only 1 defender was allowed on Abeix battle map
[e digicons]O:)[/e] Just a question, though: will the other defenders also spawn down the chasm ? Or on the small land ridge where all your units starts ? On a not-so-unrelated topic: it's just release day and you are already working on 1.1 ? Now THAT'S dedication ! [e digicons][/e]
You can get the shield from a dungeon quest. The defensive bonus is rather good, it has a unique model and a quite nice enchantment imho... but I will not say more. ;) With the last patches, I noticed some very nice variability in the loot I got from quest or at random encounters, and, I must say, I'm quite happy with that. Always fun to discover some new toys to experiment with...
It looks like the Spectral Chain, just found a suit the other day.
It is. Spectral Chain Mail + Phoenix shield. IIRC, Spectral chain mail is 8 DEF, 0 'weight' (no initiative loss). Plus, it looks quite nice, but that's just my opinion ;)
Should have uploaded these yesterday, sorry :) EDIT: And here is a save juste before all of this happens. Check Hannis army near the Fissure. You'll get Procipinee warning just prior to be allowed to attack. https://www.dropbox.com/s/bxz4tannfwchrn7/bug%20Albeix-before.EleSav Well, if this is the case, why does The Lord who Dwells Beneath appears on the str
Happened on the Scenario Anthys map: the 'Bhinadmi Fissure' goodie hut was 'activated' by the AI (Albeix appeared as an unit on the strategical map). Somehow, this poor elemental lord attracted some rock spider & spiderlings (Appeared as 'Albeix, (blablah)'s Army). When I came to defeat Albeix, I had the surprise to see a lone Rock Spider in the Fissure tactical map... And I was granted Sunderer and the Eye of Albeix for killing A LONE ROCK
The problem is the same with summoning while on water. A workaround is to empty the boat to the nearest shore, come back, and then you're allowed to load the unit in the boat... But it sure doesn't look right.
.. and it happened always while reloading a game. Its like everything moves before the world is loaded and they dont see whats there.
I am quite sure now the problem is there. Loading a save force completion of your current move; I saw a game where I was forced to enter a quest combat just after loading, without having any chances to cast support spell like Cloak of Nature
Did you build the roads in that ZoC? They're very strange. I wonder if the fact that they're on a road tile and traveling somewhere may be an issue?
I did not. There was a city of Capitar; I conquered it and it was attacked and razed two turns later by this 'Sssrip', so I placed an Arcane Monolith in order to secure the fire shard nearby and some other ressources. This explains the somewhat
Just kidding. Well, almost... I know there was quite a discussion over this topic during FE beta. I think this is NOT the same problem (actually, I saw a Butchermen army dispatching some AI defenders later that game). The problem: AI and monster stack are occupying the same tile without apparent fight or casualties. The (possible) cause: moves taking place on the same time period with one of the armies targetting a tile further a
Well, on some maps like Dust Bowl, you can get boats. Well and good. So, why not launch an expedition ? ...well, all things considered, maybe my 5 units army (NOT including the boat) is too much. My troops on land may be overrun... I should bring in reinforcements. but hey, my sovereign is Procipinee, and she is able to summon useful things, right ? Wisps, for example. Here you go, summon Wisp, and... Oops, just forgot that 1) Procipinee was ON THE BOAT and 2)
