This is awesome. If champions are going to run away like wusses it's good to know they'll at least bear the scars of the battle.
Ah excellent solution glad that's in. Does XP take a hit as well?
I'd like to know this as well.
January is a safe bet. There would be no point from a production perspective to do it this close to Christmas vacation. I would like to play it during the holidays, but that isn't a motivation for them. I would bet serious gift card that the random maps issue will take them the rest of the year to kick.
You make sense. But that won't stop me from putting the FE beta on my Christmas list.
I was wondering about this as well. I was hoping a beta would be released in December but the lack of a new date from Stardock suggests you may have a more realistic hope.
You know, some of us would be happy with a beta in the current state, even if it's still far from the ideals that it shoots for. Plus opening the beta when systems are being revised means the whole community can contribute ideas for system revision, and while there are a lot of ideas that are impractical for whatever reason, there can be some gems.
I disagree with this. It reminds me of a too many co
Awesome. The site looks great.
I'm not going to lie, I'm jealous. But is that a Gateway FX I see lurking behind the laptop? In any case, Heavenfall is right, tomshardware.com is a great resource but if you're really interested in the cream of the crop it really comes down to whether you want an Nvidia or AMD flagship. See if any of your favorite games favor one brand or the other.
Those other games are not available directly yet. They are available on Impulse or Steam (depending where you bought them from).
Ok cool. Is the plan to eventually have all Stardock titles downloadable from that page?
If that's the price range you're looking at then you're only real choices are the 6970 of the GTX 580. What kind of monitor setup do you have that you need all that firepower for games?
I have a question. I logged into my acount with Stardock Store and I see what I've purchased, but I don't see the download link next to them, like with MyColors. I see my serial numbers underneath the names of the games, but no download links. Am I doing something wrong?
Same here. Only GCII has a download button; EWOM and SoaSE don't.
At the moment the only game I can redownload is GCII. The other titles I've bought appear there, but clicking on the titles brings to a page to buy them. The plan is to have it so all Stardock titles can be redownloaded, correct? On a related note, will we be able to download the FE beta from this page?
Those numbers don't really surprise me. I don't, and apparently most other people don't, buy TBS games to play online. I loved Civ IV and am loving Civ V and I've never played a single game online. It just doesn't make sense to me; I feel like I have to rush through my turn instead of taking time to figure out the best decision. I play RTS games for that experience. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if FE doesn't have multiplayer I won&#
I personally couldn't care less about MP in TBS games. The pressure of trying to rush through your turn takes a lot of the fun out of it for me. I love TBS games, but other genres are much better suited to MP. I can't imagine a way tactical battles could be implemented in MP that wouldn't annoy me. Having two people who want to fight different battles and automate others seems like a recipe for frustration. MP without the tactical batt
Looks great. I love informative tool tips.
