Can't you digitally purchase it still?
Interesting, it seems I can which is really odd because most of the new games available through Impulse demand that I belong to North America or someplace rich enough.

So to answer your question I will respond with a question. What would be some reason for someone not to want a game in which you could choose to rape others even though you would never choose that option? To me it is a moral issue and it doesn't serve a purpose in the game. It is contriversal, obviously; and I think I am not th

Would you rather live a mostly comfortable life being pricked and prodded every day, or not exist at all? Live in a bubble, or never have a chance? Pretty simple to me, and the fact that it could potentially help millions of people, if not all of them, is simply a bonus.
Why do you think life is a gift

That's the most brilliant marketing strategy I've ever seen in a game. I wonder if it is actually new... if it is, props to you guys.

Last time I checked the methods used for cloning necessitated eggs and sperm that could then be split. My question is about the process and our ability to do so. Beyond that, nature is merely a fluid construct of humanity. Today's technology will be tomorrow's nature as our nature today is full of yesterday's technol

Brilliant idea! Morale is a necessity in every tactical game and by nature, it is complex. Your idea seems like a good foundation to large scale war-based modifiers, taking into account invading and defending armies plus time, distance and victories/defeats -- a nice start. Dr. Franknfurter add-on is also quite interesting. Captured towns should deal a blow to global morale to the defending nature, while giving a morale boost to the defending nation's local troops i.e. troops produced

Not sure if it is best for the current implementation of Elemental (namely the unmodded version) although it is certainly an excellent idea, and I wouldn't mind playing with this feature (and yes, I mean that even AI sovereigns would benefit from this ... And I don't think it breaks the game in this way either)
Care to elaborate? [quote who="swordguyj" re

I do not understand. Will Civ V be also available in retail or only on Steam? Will retail copies (if any) demand you to be plugged on Steam to work? Will Steam charge you for this?

I remember long and vast discussions on this matter back then but nothing along these lines was seriously discussed. Your idea is refreshing, still it shows a few problems: It implies dualism; you either accept the killing of foreign Sovereigns as end game or makes impossible for factions to vanish. If you accept dualism, you favour privileges to players close to the point of cheating. If you don't, you break the game; It goes against the lore so far. Sovereigns aren'

Beautiful idea. I would just like to add it would be extraordinarily fun to create new magic creatures by twisting or messing with the specimens you take alive. Perhaps you could even breed hybrids!

I would love to have heroes/family members rebelling and creating new factions, unfortunately thanks to the "Channeler only" nation-control this game has it is impossible. So, the second best option is to have heroes making your life a little hell by doing what you just cited: being egocentric a-holes. Let them steal money from your treasury, run away with your daughters, be awfully corrupt when in charge of government, make deals without your permission, attacking without your permission and

Interesting, but still requires fuel besides the fact the true chemical reaction is a "secret". Oxygen and fuel go in and what comes out? They can't just turn into a pure flow of electrons - magic does not happen. They also do not question the durability of it, how long it will run without failing. Far from revolutionary, I believe this technology will be merely incremental, take a few % points on fossil fuel use to produce a modest increase in energy production... or so they tell.</p

For a more accurate example of what their diet might have been like I would suggest a study of Native American diets prior to their contact with Europeans. Sure they ate lots of meat but not every day. They ate a lot of vegetables and fruits and dried

It does bring to mind the question though of why they put so much work and love into the Dynasty system if none of those children will ever become Sovereign's them-selves. In the long run the best thing would probably be a "Heir Option" that you would check at the beginning of starting a Custom game. Also by only allowing this option during a custom game th

Clarifying a bit my 'no': I consider it is much more interesting for a 4X to lose based on your own incompetence than by sheer tragedy in one single battle. Let us not make every game a regicide, please. Think on all the complexity, the struggles one nation might face after its Sovereign is dead. Now think on how 'game over' is a cheap way out of building a proper scheme of succession.
