@ KickACrip It's nice that you like steam, and I respect your right to want it and have it. It would also be nice for 2k to respect the right of people like myself who don't want steam. All we're asking for is a choice, so you can get what you want, and we don't have to get what we don't want. Why

I just noticed the update too. Can't find any mention of it here (I'm guessing they're too busy working -- on Mother's Day sunday night no less -- to post about it yet).
What's a reasonable standard for 'stable enough', from a single players perspective? (serious question). I just made it to turn 501 with no reloading/restarting before a game-ending problem (froze up) -- is that 'good enough'? Or is 1000 turns? Or...? Once that's determined, what % of the testers should meet that standard?

I can confirm this. It holds for Champions with 0 health regen, and with >0 too.
Hero-led neutral factions (now Improved! with their own cities!!) is a nice feature. An option for their allegiance(s) to Sovs would be also -- it would reward/punish diplomacy/charisma/etc.
@ Naithin You raise some good points. Possible answers: 1- If the someone stops playing while the game continued, they 'quit'. 2- If they play to the game's successful end, they 'completed'. 3- If they play to a game's unsuccessful end, they 'persisted'. 4- If the game isn't yet over and they are still playing they '[I dunno what term to use -- 'still in progress'?] 2 and 3 could be combined, and 4 ignored, for simplicity's sake.

I've seen this happen a few times. This time there was an enemy peasant (you can see that unit's card in the pic) that I tracked through the woods. I couldn't see the unit as it moved thru the woods, but could follow its movement by holding the cursor over its location the cursor, getting the 'crossed sword' cursor. In the pic below the 'invisible' enemy peasant is on the farm tile (where the movement 'X' is -- the cursor didn't show in the printscreen). You can see the enem
Regarding passing items to chars in different tiles -- distance isn't accounted for. I can pass items from across the game world, just need to zoom out enough so that both donor/donee are on the same screen. Items do pass, and equipping passed item changes the donee's stats (defense in this case, as I passed the armor) so the exchange is real.
