I don't play this game anymore because of that. We'll see whether FE still uses teleport...
Black-Knight
All good except "+ Notable locations will be spawned NEAR you when you increase your exploration level (but now remember, your opponents can access them too so don't do it if you're surrounded) " I like a realistic explanation for things, that makes no sense. Because I increase my level, 3000 years ago a temple was built... right next to where I am now? Silly.
Still Needed: Unit Abilities: ?- Unit starts at 2nd level Armor: ?- A magical breastplate with increased defense - SKIN OF THE DRAGONLORD - CUIRASS OF DARK JUSTICE Monsters: ?- Better name for a Green Dragon - FLOWER DRAKE - FOREST DRAKE - DRAKE OF POISON ?- Better name for a Red Dragon - FLAME DRAKE - SUNSET DRAGON - DRAKE OF BLOO
I agree.
A big problem in a lot of games is how magically a conquered people become "your" people. If I am of the Race of Men and conquer your city of Dwarfs, we have a different race, culture and religion, and the game shouldn't assume that I magically turned my conquered foe into my race. I conquer a city of Stone loving Dwarfs, they don't become Sun loving humans automatically. Well, what should happen instead?
Not true. I agree t
To me "awesome" and "RTS" are two words that just don't go together, for several reasons due to the surreal arcade "un-strategic" "un-realistic" feelling that a RTS just give me. That said I have player Napoleon Total War and I had lots of fun, I would also try Shogun II if you are looking for a thrill.
Marketing -wise wouldn't it be better to promote Elemental FE as Elemental "II" FE? Just to make people understand the amount of work that it represents, and make sure it doesn't get dismissed as just an expansion to a game that didn't do that well?
The most obvious soutions come from realism: why doesn't a REAL city get burned by bandits? Because their help can be bought out or because citizens form a miltia that never leaves the town but can only defend it. Why doesn't a REAL city get burnd down by bears? Well, bears and wolves just don't burn cities, they can just kill the population and or steal food. Everything else can be fine, but at least the above options should apply. Not going for realism in basic stuff lik
Wow there is a bug in the bug!
I would like to see some technologies restricted to specific races/kingdom. If you capture a city that kingdom or empire you may be able to research these technologies, though the full extent of these new technologies may not be fully revealed. * Example: The Ironeers have knowledge of how to make steel ,and they have kept this knowledge secret. Capture an Ironeer town with a forge and you may be able to research steel weapons and steel
The idea sounds great, but I believe maybe the tech tree shouldn'd be entirely visible from the beginning. I rather see its development being a surprise as the game progresses. Maybe one should be able to foresee the next two branches of the tree as techs are descovered. That would add a constant element of surprise during the game, while not completely bring possible bad news at he last minute! In Age of Wonders new spells become available for research in the spell book a
Totally agree, personally as stated before I prefer to Play By EMail (PBEM). Probably once the regular multiplayer has been improved adding a PBEM system wouldn't be that tough.

Sorry double post
That is definitely something that needs to be addressed.
Sounds good. The technologies that spawned monsters and treasures were just too unrealistic and I like the fact that tech trees change every time. If that works I hope you guys add enough variations to truly make all games different from each other. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Yeah, why not. This game lacks specialization, all that is cool. I don't know about limiting that to the fallen, but maybe in that case humans should have a counterpart. Maybe something like "Religious leader"(a sort of pope who also cannot have children but heal units and have all sort of happy positive spells. He would also have a low charisma though, due to the fact that champions who follow him would have to practice abstinence. eheheh.
My suggestion is: leave that house F-A-S-T! And I am not joking now.

Didn't notice the contest until too late. My trait suggestion is called VAMPYRE or VAMPIRE or BLACK KNIGHT or something around that line It is a quite powerful trait, one that can influence the whole gameplay for that particular character. A Vampyre can either be a king or an emperor, but if he chooses humans over the fallen he's going to have a certain number of negative bonuses since they would probably be less inclined to accept a demon as king. (Negative bo
I don't think he's one of us, at least not one of me :P
If it detects a human presence I doubt it would work for me.
They should alternate masculine and feminine names like the tornados (just to be fair to the ladies)
I have never played this game in multiplayer, do players see the same gold and special locations and compete to reach them or does everybody see his own? Because the AI doesn't seem to exploit the same resources that players do and that's another problem on the same line! (an unfair advantage to human players this time... althought the AI is so rich that doesn't even need them)
