I have a dual monitor setup so I can watch the changes in game as they happen on task manager, the most significant things that happen is, the first time you open the research panel, it goes up from 460 to 580k memory usage, but I don't think thats it, whatever is happening I can determine happens early in the game, the only thing that significantly slowed down the game for me so far is researching basic equipment, it snail paced turns, and from that point the game became extremely slow, so w

The scaling in the mods is a little messed up, if I scale things it does not properly convert to the proper size for say a tactical battle, If I want a castle wall all I can get is a dinky castle wall, If I want it to be bigger I cannot do that it only scales up to max, you cannot scale it to completely fit the size of the tile, in the tile editor before you use it in the map editor.
Ya I would like to also have the option to tac battle them all, If I auto attack a bandit party with a def rating of 55 and combat rating of 66, with my party which has a def rating of 656, and an attack rating of 702, I lose which makes so much sense, then if I attack them I use Infernal on their party and they die. I dont see how they can win when I have more then a 10x advantage on them.

I was screwing around with the map editor, and it seems the more mountains I placed the worst the lag got. OOM... I think there might be something there, it was only the mountain that would lag it I tried everything else. My next test is to make a map with no mountains at all and see the result, I will keep you informed

Nah it seems to be spam memory increaseing in the map editor as well, I'm going to stay on it and see if I can get it to crash. I'll keep you posted.
My memory usage goes up 100k the first time the research window loads, My memory, every 2 - 3 turns after go up 30k, if I don't pass a turn I can build an do other things and push it up by 100k then when I pass a turn it stays at whatever level, the most noticeable difference for me though is after the research window loads, it goes up 100k and then about 10 - 30 k after that every turn, its usually 10k a turn 30k when I complete something, however the ram fluctuates, even if I

I can tell you right now when it goes up in that save game, usually on the trasitional screens between tactical combat, and the map, as well as each turn, if I stay Idle and do nothing It does not budge, but during transitional phases it jumps 30k for me memory. Here I'll start a fresh game right now and then tell you when it happens in that one and post it.

Ya the games memory usage ramps up like huge, but for no real reason, you can have a game with 12 city's crash you out. but reload the same game, and play for an hour before it crashes you out again. and watching the memory usage it starts at a reasonable amount and gets more and more bloated, I'll post my save game after work.

After I crashed out of memory, I left open task manager to watch the memory usage when I first opened the map that gave me the out of memory error, because I have autosave at 1 turns, memory was at around 500k, after about 30 mins it slowly continued to rise until 1200k I quit after that, but I'm just saying, I take it Road Geometry is still ramping it up.

My quad runs the game fine, well except when the AI goes all crazy and does whatever he does to make the game lag like heck, and half the world is his city. whatever hes doing I don't know.
