I was able to start it up after the third try. A race condition/timing issue might explain the apparent randomness. Thanks.

First time trying to launch the game after the update. I saw the initial splash screen for a moment and then it crashed. Debug.err
Was that a coupon for Norton? Surprised to see that in the box considering Microsoft's MSE product. [e digicons]^_^[/e]
Fullscreen. The crash seems to happen about 25% of time, but I can't find a way to predictably replicate it. I'll try the bypass setting you mentioned and see if that helps at all. Thanks.
I like the concept of caravans traveling between your towns, generating extra revenue, etc. I also like the idea of an enemy being able to sit in the middle of one of your trade routes in order to hamstring your economy. What I'm not a fan of is the silly level 2 spiders attacking my caravans on every turn . It seems a bit tedious. Perhaps there could be an option to have them retreat/fight automatically so I don't get prompted over and over.
After killing the last enemy Sovereign, I advanced to the next turn and was greeted with the "Victory - Conquest" banner. I clicked the banner and the game crashed. Debug.err
I saw the Elemental splash screen, then briefly saw the "Brave Adventurer" screen before the game window disappeared. Debug.err
Game crashed while deleting a couple Kingdom Huts in my starting city. Debug.err / DxDiag.txt
I like the idea of getting a choice before the battle ensues. Either you flee to the nearest city and lose your entire entourage, or you engage in battle. You cannot flee if you are alone.
Hmm...after thinking about this a little more, it seems too easy to exploit. Run around with one additional weak unit in your army and any time you get engaged, it's a free teleport back home.

What a tease...I want to know the results of the bee experiment! Favorite quote, "Now this is gonna hurt...I won't lie to ya".
I want to know more about the bee experiment!!
