I just recently updated Ready to Play via Impulse. When I click the "Run" button from within Impulse, I get a Windows error message stating "Ready To Play has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...". The same thing happens if I attempt to launch it from the shortcut in my Start menu. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate (x64). Any suggestions?

It might be nice to have the following: Ready: Looking to play a game, available for chat, included in other player searches Available: Not actively looking to play a game, available for chat (convince me to play), not included in other player searches Unavailable: Not actively looking to play a game, not available for chat, not included in other player searches I'd like to have a status type that allows me to chat with my gaming buddies, but

Fullscreen. The crash seems to happen about 25% of time, but I can't find a way to predictably replicate it. I'll try the bypass setting you mentioned and see if that helps at all. Thanks.

I like the concept of caravans traveling between your towns, generating extra revenue, etc. I also like the idea of an enemy being able to sit in the middle of one of your trade routes in order to hamstring your economy. What I'm not a fan of is the silly level 2 spiders attacking my caravans on every turn . It seems a bit tedious. Perhaps there could be an option to have them retreat/fight automatically so I don't get prompted over and over.

You cannot flee if you are alone.
Hmm...after thinking about this a little more, it seems too easy to exploit. Run around with one additional weak unit in your army and any time you get engaged, it's a free teleport back home.

What's the difference between the "Ready" and "Available" status types? Also, is there a status type that allows your friends to chat with you, but also indicates that you are not available to play a game?
So far I havne't found any of my friends. This is because I don't know their Stardock usernames. Heck, I barely know _my_ stardock username. I'd strongly recomend adding a "add by Email" fuction. Additionally, if there was some way I could tell stardock to peek at my gmail contact list and add/invite the people on it, that would make it really easy to populate my "ready to play" list.
Don’t take my word for it though, if anyone who has Ready to Play wants to comment here, go for it.
Is there a forum or post for "Ready to Play" comments/bugs/suggestions? I just installed it...didn't play around with it too much, but noticed that I don't have any recommended friends yet. After I choose a game, I just see "Searching..." in the "Choose Friends" screen. Could be a firewall issue...or maybe I'm just *that
