Just to reiterate, if you're having problems with your nickname change, send an email to [email protected] with the title "Nickname" with any email addresses you may have used in the past, as well as your full name. I've been getting to most of them in a day or less, but I can only type so fast... *whew*

I'm not the only one, but I'm handling the bulk of them. As for the chat in Impulse, it's based on IRC, and being able to change your nickname is kind of one of the selling points of IRC. My name there is currently Rosco_WootOff (as there is currently a Woot Off going on...). It more or less comes with the territory, but I'd suggest having fun with it. If you see a Rosco_TwitchingFromTooMuchCoffee later, that's probably me.

If you sent in an email about your nickname, please bear with me, as I'm working through them as fast as I can. Most of the emails I'm getting are from issues like Shirley mentioned, and from things like people having multiple accounts with the same username and not realizing it, or recreating an account because they no longer had access to the email address they initially used.
