So you want my feedback. At least that's what you wrote in that mail when you told me that I now own Fallen Enchantress. First of all, I have to say: Bold move! I still don't know if it's honesty or a pure economic calculation and a big marketing effort. Anyway: I own Fallen Enchantress and so far it seems to be a mahor step ahead, from what we had in Elemental. Your artists really added alot of stuff, like background images, new

Hi, I noticed that when loading a game, the loading screen tipps immediatelly disappear, even though the game is still loading. I wont complain about fast loading times, but maybe this can be improved a bit. At the moment I find them rather pointless, as they are vanishing after 2 seconds. cheers
TBS games of this scope will NEVER be for casual game sessions. I had many many many weeks of fun with my friends playing MOO2, AoW, and even such old games as the grandious Battle Isle series. Though one thing I never did: Play online with strangers. It just doesnt work out. You need to KNOW the player. Have his contact data to continue the match at a later point etc. IMO Stardock shouldnt focus on random matches, lobby support and all that traditional stuff.... If people wanna
About tactical battles: Make it a server setting: ON/OFF/PROMPT WHEN ATTACKING So if people dont like it they play on OFF.
Besides the obvious in here: I m all for increasing the minimum distance between 2 cities when settling a new one. 5 is just not enough.
If you have the units selected, you should be able to just click a tile outside the city to move them out there.
Yes, that is possible. However, that makes the funtion to "eject" them (via the banner left to the unit portraits) very pointless. Well, I ll doing it the other way then. So, anyone else has issues with SHIFT when selecting multiple units in town? My mouse cursor's movement is stuttering when I hold shift. But only
Okay, so NPCs walk in my influence area like they see fit, but as soon as I make one step into their influence areas I get a diplomacy dialogue popping up telling me to leave or declare war.... Erm... how do I do the same to them when they enter my territory?? And another thing: Why are the NPC factions always bothering me with something like "Hey, we should make a treaty, that would be beneficial" but when accept to discuss, I always have to pay
Either I use shift click on the little icons to select the units (but when I hold shift pressed, the mouse cursor doesnt move correct anymore) or I use the shield icon to select all the units and eject them. Because of that bug I tend to use eject. Now I want to tell the game on what tile to eject the units, is that possible? Am I missing something?
-Why are caravans cycled through with tab? Dont you use tab to cycle through your ACTIVE units? Auto-caraverns are not of interest when you want to cycle through units.
-When a town is selected at the edge of the screen and the construction menu is open, you can deselect the town by left clicking somewhere on the map. However, the screen then jumps to the city which is pointless, as the player just deselected the city to do something else. -A town list aka Master Of Orion would be a big help organizing your empire. -Always put exclamation marks on the ressources around your towns (toggle in options?). Raiders kill your stuff and its so a
Its the Master Of Orion Food mechanic, except you dont need transporters ;)
Some more stuff: -When using "Imbue Champion" on a tile that has several possible targets, it should ask you what character you want to cast on! -Ordering a unit to move should first draw the movement path and a second click should activate the movement, so you always know what your unit is going to do. I often had them take routes I dont wanted them to take, but didnt see it before it was too late. Age Of Wonders did it well I believe. -Alert the player when populatio
So I was thinking and thinking why I felt bored when moving my units, so I fired up MoM and played it, and went back to Elemental and compared... Now I realized that it is the scale of the world. The landmass is just to wide, speaking in tiles. In MoM you went 8 tiles from one end to the other of your starting areas and always have some choke points, rivers, oceans etc. and while doing so you are crossing a mountain, a forrest etc. cause it was all more abstra
I ve installed the latest "unofficial" version (checking the box in impulse). I ve looted a +1 Dex book and I used it in combat: Bang, game crashed. Thereafter I realoaded and tried it outside of combat and it worked perfect. Guess we have a bug here.
Hi ppl & Stardock, After some hours of testing the game I came up with a list of stuff that I noticed. So I wrote it down while playing to give some feedback. Here we go: -Add an "END TURN SOUND" when pressing turn, clearly marking when new turn begins (sometimes you already click around in the new turn and then an event from the new turn pops up kinda lagging behind the new turn) - there is no clear perception of when the new tu
My main concern is with the density of world exploraiton points of interests. I always compare things to MoM (its the standard) and there you had so much to do on the terrain outside your city. In ElementaL everything is just EMPTY. Well, ok, mostly. There are so many areas which are plain boring without any point of interest (except maybe a broken caraven for +5 gold, woha! :-( ) Please make the random maps more alive by putting more stuff into the world! Just play MoM over and ove
Hey, I cant seem to scroll around with the arrow keys. Is it a bug or is "as designed"? I hope its a bug :) cheers
I say: Spiritual followup: Yes. Close to MoM experience: No. Main Reasons: Artwork & type of spells I really hope they Stardock will produce an addon that will drive the game more towards Master Of Magic (the best TBS game ever produced in my opinion). Screw 3D. Screw "up to date presentation". A game sux you in if the ambience is right, and the music/sound effects are immersive. It doesnt matter if you have full 3D or can zoom in and out seemingless. Those th
