I'm still seeing it occasionally. Most consistently in my last game on .981(c) after I had recruited a dragon and it cast fear at the beginning of every battle. Each time the action bar was missing for the first turn.

My Shieldman leveled up, and one of the choices I had for traits was Earth Adept II. But the tooltip for it doesn't contain any meaningful text, except perhaps to the developer.
BTW, the game runs fine for me with shadows turned off after I restarted and reloaded my last save.
While in the middle of a game, I went to the options menu, turned off shadows in the video section, and then returned to the game. It crashed immediately. Dump file is here.
Yes, very good change!
I completed research on a tech on the same turn as the spell of making completed. The game showed the spell of making victory screen, the game recap and ranking, but after that, the main menu came up but was covered by the research screen. I can't see the "Quit" on the main menu, because it's covered by the research window, and I can't dismiss the research window because clicking on Done or Cancel does nothing. <img src="https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5003976/FE-2012
Oh, ok, I didn't realize that. Thanks.
The tooltip for the Magical Forging tech shows that it requires the Blacksmithing tech. Normally, FE shows pre-reqs that aren't met in red. But in this case I have already researched Blacksmithing, so it shouldn't be shown in red.
Hovering over the city build list for Labor Guild shows a tooltip that has two lines for "Production per Material". The first says that it increases from +3 to +5 (if I'm reading it correctly) but the second says it decreases from +3 to +2.
Hidden unit? I don't think so, unless that's another bug. You can see from the cloth map that there's no unit on the road. The same thing happened twice more so far in this game, and I had no problem moving the units one tile at a time along the road.
I tried to send a pioneer from the town that had trained it to another spot on the map, where the entire distance it had to travel was connected by a road. Instead of using the road, it took off for god knows where. In the following screen shot, the bottom arrow indicates the route along the road that the unit should have taken. The other two arrows indicate the approximate route that the unit actually was assigned by the broken pathfinding algorithm. Note that there were

I've seen this too, and have used mqpiffle's technique of rotating the camera to circumvent it. It's really annoying.
Stardock Central won't even show FE for me. Did you do anything special to get it to show on your list of installed software?
If I retire my sovereign, the message says something about how ruling was too "tireing". Should be "tiring", shouldn't it?
I reported that back in beta 2! Do you suppose it'll ever get fixed?
After researching Training, I can now train Monks. If the pre-req tech is intended, perhaps it should be made more clear to the player.
I'm on the .981 version labelled "c2" in the update file name. I researched Charms, which is supposed to make the Monk unit available. However, when I try to train a unit, Monk is not listed as one of the choices, and is also not listed as one of the existing units in the design units dialog. Saved game is here.
I've seen and reported this in .98, but you're seeing it now in .981? Rats, I thought I had seen that Derek said this was fixed.
Playing as Procipenee, I completed the quest "The Riddle" by defeating the mages. On completion, I got a message that I had now learned the spell "Confusion". However, I don't see the new spell listed as either a strategic or tactical spell in the spellbook, even after waiting for another turn.
I think this bug pre-dates beta 4
You could very well be correct.
Reported in beta 4 and not yet fixed.
If I recall correctly, this problem has been reported in every beta since beta 2. I see it again in my current .981 game, with 4 apparently plains tiles right next to a river all behaving like river tiles, and identified as river terrain just above the minimap.
That's true, cugeldaclever, but I still consider it a bug. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Please take a not about whether you have the sovereign background that improves trading
When I saw it in beta 4 it was with a custom sovereign who did not have any trading buffs. In beta 5 I saw it with Procipinee.
This problem still exists in .98b. I've edited the original post to change the release level.
