Is there anyway to get a box to pop up when you settle so that you can name your town? I've hated every single name it has come up with so far and I always rename settlements for flavor and also strategic reasons on larger maps. Also is there any way to setup a Custom Faction's towns so that they follow a list of names like the default factions? New Hallas, Resoln, Hope, etc actually sound like town names and it would be great if I could make my own list too!</p

How about for the sequel title Elemental: Return of the Lost Pixels
Anyone know where the Scrying Pool (+1 Essence) tech went too? Doesn't seem to be Delacon or Enchanters. On that note, what ways are there to increase a city's essence without using my cheese pools? :D
I have to agree here. Never liked the art style (very ugly to me) but it is a moot because a strategy game does not have to be 'pretty' or look good if it does other things right. It does look a lot better than WOM but unfortunately it still has that similar look. I actually used the word 'ugly' at first in my post but I decided to tone it down a bit. After having played th

I think its the obvious thing every company should do, yet I've never seen it happen. Then 2 weeks later its all "oh we were so surprised when X did Y and that people thought Z was incomplete, we set out to make it right etc". Granted it would work well with FE and its current beta release system, considering everyone who has access to beta either won it as a WoM conciliation prize or already bought the game. Certainly if this was done with other games I won't mention people wou

I still play Civ4, SoTS, SoaSE, and other older strategy games more than FE. The title of "The Best" is a matter of opinion, and I'm not really sure how you could possibly play a game of FE and think "polished, totally not beta" it is heavily bug-ridden right now including still retaining some of the major bug complaints of the first game! Which honestly have been ignored so long I doubt they will ever be fixed as they must caused by a deep flaw in the gaming engine being used. &n

I'm also getting many missing graphics issues, though instead of UI my champions are missing heads and trees/structures disappear unless I zoom in and out a lot.
Quoting Tuidjy, reply 30I am sure that I am in the minority, but I have to say that I hate this. Magical energy necessary to change 100kg of dirt into mud: 8 Magical energy necessary to raise thousands upon thousands of tons from the bottom of the ocean: 5 Terraforming spells should feel epic, and at 50 mana they barely did. At 5 mana, they are a gimmick. Oooo, see how we have unreachable areas wit
I wish the shards were stronger as they seem pretty central to the plot and all. A warrior can wield a sword and the sword will always do a set amount of damage, but a mage must rely on shards for the strength of their spells (relevant traits/stats for both roles aside). Magic seems to be where the game breaks down, I am curious to see how things stand after this massive balance pass. It seems that weapons/armor are fairly balanced but magic is either always super weak or super OP.
Does anyone know when FE will be released?
Adding multiplayer post-release is going to be a nightmare probably. In the past Stardock has shown minimal if any support for multiplayer. Good lord did anyone try it in the original Elemental 0_o? Its a real shame since I've put countless hours into Civ4 with friends and I wish I could do the same with Fallen Enchantress. It will still be a good single player game at least. Originally they claimed FE would have multiplayer, then they claimed they would add it post release, then it becam
It's already eaten up a lot of my free time. Every iteration is a noticeable improvement.
I'm very disappointed with the latest update as it did nothing to address the elephant in the room, aka farms. As Fallen Enchantress is a pay2win game I am seriously upset with the lack of farming content. It would be ideal if we could incorporate gameplay involving various aspects of farm management such as plowing land, planting , g
Those seem a bit more like random quests? At any rate there needs to be a third option for quests. Right now there is #1 Fight, a battle of unknown strength unless you have fought them before or #2 Leave, and the quest disappears completely and the NPCs may or not still be around and roam. I take it back, instead of having a third option they should just be completely overhauled so the player has some idea of the strength of the enemy (deadly, strong, epic ratings are basically useles
You can only have one Guardian Idol per faction though. The Guardian statues aren't too bad when you look at their power/defense, but they have some big negatives too.
Looks like an amazing update. I didn't play the last one more than a few hours due to all the gamebreaking bugs but I'm definitely gonna give this one a shot. [e digicons];P[/e] I noticed you put some of the dev diaries on steam. Is multiplayer still on the table?
(1) How do you think we should refer to this game? Elemental: Fallen Enchantress or just Fallen Enchantress? Fallen Enchantress without a doubt, though its not exactly the catchiest title. Elemental carries a hefty stigma for anyone who googles it and you may lose sales anyways from people thinking they will have to get the previous game to understand the story when in reality the game is actually plot-lite. (2) You can already go to <a href="http://www.fallenenchantr

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but it would be great if we knew what enchantments on both allies and enemies did in battle in case we were some sort of wierdo that did not memorize every spell in the game along with the amount of shards everyone has so far. If someone has casted say blindness on my sov I would like to know what it does, if I cast it on an enemy I would like to know what it does before I spend mana on it too. I could take a wild guess and say it reduces accuracy or ma
