Now are we using Valve time or real time?
I heard a rumor that instead of yearly expansions Elemental would be releasing content in a new Episodic format. Each one would be stand alone and would come out a lot faster than the current Expansion system most developers use.

The spell of making costs 100 Int and you can cast it with your warrior brute specc'd Sov that also single handily pwnt 3 AIs before season 20. Most spells not being affected by Int outside of requirements which don't matter anyways means y
Someone at PC Gamer must be friends with someone at Stardock to get re-reviewed so quickly [e digicons]o_O[/e] Game still has a long way to come but 1.1 was a great step in the right direction. I know I'll get my money's worth eventually and then some. Heck we already got promised free expansions.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/40930/ PB Winterbottom on sale for .49 cents I've paid more than that for a gumball before...so surely its worth at least that much [e digicons]8|[/e] Edit: wtf is with all the random links the forum made outside of the first?
It does sound like it, yes. It's not my intention to shill for Steam here though, I just wanted to generate some awareness in case there are people on the PC Gaming forum here who didn't know about of this. Regardless of who you buy your games from, there are some really good deals here. I was about to make the same post. Its all good.
Well if no one buys from them and Steam fails
Civ also went crazy with specialists and bonuses to said specialists that just reinforced city spamming. I agree that Elemental went the other extreme route though, but it could just be due to the current lack of content.
TBH this probably counts as advertising which is against the rules of most forums. Honestly I've thought the sales on steam this holiday were pretty lame until today. If I hadn't already played most of these they would be steals, a few that jump out at me are: 75% off Prince of Persia, all of the newer games. Above off of Titan Quest complete, Portal, Fear 1&2. 66% off Bad company 2. 3 bucks for De
Oh man I wish this is how it worked, I hate how there is no real strategy to city placement/terrain atm. This works amazing with the lore as well as you have this world 100 years after a cataclysm just now recovering. You are able to take advantage of surviving resources such as lost libraries and clay pits but in the long term you will want to establish your own mines and lumberyards and such as your civilization grows and needs increase, this is only natural. This wor
He is secretly training them as his Bee army to take over the world. His AI work is just lab work to him, with his bee training being the practical application. Why do you think he always asks us our strategies against the AI? We will be defenseless vs his bees now!
http://fidgit.com/archives/2010/12/ten_games_you_should_have_play.php Saw this list and cringed as I remember spending 3 bucks on a few of these through steam and feeling it was a waste of money...3 bucks, waste of money, wow. Especially Greed corp which felt like some super simplistic strategy void console game, so I looked it up and found out it was a port of course. I guess I should b
Here are some assumptions. I assume that its not an oversight and that its either something that causes significant crashes that is temporarily disabled until they can fix it or that Brad is coding AI differently per faction to add flavor to the game. I too would like to be able to fight against those factions I've created again :D
Problem is that it is about as balanced as a jrpg, full of unbalanced spells, most of which never get used and huge difference between lvl 3 and lvl 5 guy, and equipment stats. Works fine in an rpg, not so great in a multiplayer (theoretically) rpg strategy game. A lot of this stuff is being addressed I'm sure, or will be addressed post-holidays so I think we just have to be patient and maybe next month we will see more useful spells, rebalanced spells/equipment, additi
In summary, buy it but don't play it.
Well you can try it out I suppose. Best to buy it now with the promise of future free expansions before the 20th I believe. I don't think stardock is hurting for cash and the core game is starting to make a lot of progress so expansions should be worthwhile. Game isn't that great yet but Stardock is working hard on it and I'm optimistic about next year, though idk if I'l
...etc...lost the quote...etc...
I usually take the green thumb trait as food is this month's gold. Then I setup the beacon and depending on if my Sov found that magical +25 materials drop I'll either build a workshop or hut. If I'm not planning on pumping out a ton of troops early game I'll get the farm building while my city is on its way to lvl 2.
I'm currently playing on a huge map, ridiculous level, all opponents. I had pretty much explored the entire right side of the map and found all of the opponents except one-- Altar. Where was Altar? Now code a way for the AI to effectively use boats and fight on an island map and you can sell yourself as freelance consultant to 2k and Stardock. Well, 2k cheated in latest Civ but you get the general idea :D

ack yeah misread that completely in my research rampage. As you can see I have little info here atm and any additions would be appreciated.
OK I've read through the lore and read between the lines for ingame conversation text, but I can't really find any info on the Fallen races that doesn't just say something like "The Titans made x, y, z races". I'm sure there must be some link or something I missed that details the races and I understand there is nothing to distinguish between them ingame yet outside of some textures. If anyone could help me get more specifics on them that would be great. Even if its just something small
The Empires of the East are dominated by races of beings collectively known as “The Fallen”. They are beings that were bred by the Titans of old to be better than the mortal men, dragons and other “natural” creatures of the world. There are lots of Fallen creatures in the world. The Empires are led by humanoid races, bred by the Titans of old, that are both sentient and social. The Empires believe in the justice of raw strength and
