Problem: Diplomacy doesn't feel fun. Diplomacy sounds as if it should require intelligence, intrigue, beguilement, etc; but it doesn't. What it real boils down too is very simple abuse of the AI as it tries to fake interest in the world around itself. I enjoy it about as much as Frogboy enjoys tactical battles. Suggestion: Make is so you have diplomatic currency that can be spent as an either or scenario. I spend 10 diplomatic points and you eithe

I think this is devolving into over complicated system. When it doubt leave it out. I would be happy with keeping the wound system as is, there are some pretty bad ones, and just make the wait time increase after each additional death. Items would still be a fun idea too, because that makes your hero half of what he/she is.

There is a lot of talk about what should happen to a fallen hero and I would first like to say that I am not in favor of perma-death. The wound/recoup time is such a novel idea that it would ruin the charm of the heroes in fallen enchantress. What I would like to see is a little more severe consequences, so here is a list of ideas. 1. Longer re spawn times. 2. Production in your capital stops while hero is recovering. It takes energy to care for our wounde

I am okay with bears having it because giants bears really would rip through an army; however, doesn't make sense for a weapon to have maul.

Reply to Imbue Champion in FE Beta

I responded and it erased my message but basically, just because everyone of your heroes can cast magic doesn't make you a bigger threat necessarily. It gives you more options from time to time, but 25 mana is a lot in this game if you want to stay growing at a competitive pace. There are many times I could better use that 25 mana to win key quests to further my heroes abilities better than simply imbueing another hero who is a warrior build anyways. Just my thoughts on the sub

I jumped into a game and after leveling up got a skill that gave me +3 move and +3 attack on my first turn only. I think it was called charge. How cool is that, my hero became a berserk-er of sorts which was good and bad at the same time because he was also my primary magic users so I was torn on whether I should cast a spell my first turn or run in head first to get my bonus damage. I then got a awesome cloak of spider silk that gave me a unique spell (blindness) and this made it s

I use gmail. I understand that mistakes happen, and I am not looking for a witch hunt; but gmail is a pretty big email provider to have dropped the ball that badly. I am still curious, but it is good to know some got the email on a logical day to get it.

I just got an email today (December 3rd) with a flier for 50% off Stardock's Object Destop, what a deal. This program is usually $50 and I was going to get it for about $25... cool. Then I clicked the link and it pulled me up to a purchase page where it didn't show a reduced price... is there somewhere that I click to enter a discount code? Is the price going to be discounted when I place the order? Where is the discount? Well going back to the flier I read that it is valid 11.25-12.0

Spathi-wa thank you for being someone who didn't attack me for my oppinion. I appreciate that. So to answer your question I will respond with a question. What would be some reason for someone not to want a game in which you could choose to rape others even though you would never choose that option? To me it is a moral issue and it doesn't serve a purpose in the game. It is contriversal, obviously; and I think I am not the only one who has these views. Now someon

With the two gentlemen marrying each other I vote no. If someone wants to make a mod then let them, but please don't push that on everyone else. I could make a lot of explanations as to why I don't want to see this but I think I will keep it simple and just ask politely that you don't include that in the game. Besides that issue, I am loving the naming of the units. I would love to play multi-player and kill someone with an army of buttons. :)

So I win a battle and there is a choice for 5 gildars or 1 gildar and an ability point, does anyone know what this means? Also sometimes I get the option of 5 gildars or -2E1345389638495 ability points?

Few Thoughts. First, I want to give my +1 to the idea for more kits. Scout kit, medic kit, archer kit, knight kit, etc. More kits would be really nice to see in game. I don't consider my units different units if they have swords or spears, I consider my units different if they actually do something unique besides damage; like aiming parrying with swords and dismounting with spears. More kits would add to the illusion of unique units more then different armors and weapons add t

I bought elemental for its tactical battles, so I am very devoted in giving my two cents on this subject, seeing as is the tactical battles... well they are not good. First off, there is a fix that wouldn't need to let every unit counterattack, yet still be fair. It is tacking combat speed away from actions. You give every unit 2 actions (maybe more as a special ability) 1 action can be used to move, the other action can be used to attack or cast spells. Th

Playing beta 3-b I find it sooooo much better than previous builds, dispite it crashing after a few turns. But combat is in, spells are fun, questis are interesting, diplomacy, npcs; it is looking like a game. My only really critism right now is how laggy the game feels. I have a quad core, yet when I click a button to move, or to cast a spell, or to build a building, or what have you, it feels like a 1 second delay. That one second delay though small and somewhat easy to just roll

You obviously don't understand beta. It is not suppose to be fun, so they intentionally add content that ensure even if you begin to have fun that they cut you down. How dare you even begin to have fun, you should be ashamed... Ohh, and by the way I 100% agree with you though :) Lets just hope that it makes it into the final game...

I hear a lot of people worried that cities are too close now, I dont think it is something to worry about. Cities are not close to each other, boundries are close to each other. Which frankly speaking is how it really ought to work. You don't go to war with someone because they are two squares from your capital, you go to war with someone when they are 45 squares away from your capital, but rather 2 spaces away from your gold mine. I think it also shows a very tactic

@ xecran That might be interesting, but a game without an end is a waste of time. ... *Cough World of Warcraft ...*cough :) If you had an objective like build to a certain point, or survive for x turns, that would be very interesting indeed.

I am going to have a lot more to write about when I get my hands on the actual tactical system, but let me just say this is one of the primary reasons I bought the game. I love good tactical systems. And I think Frogboy says he hates them, (Maybe I just thought I read that somewhere) which makes me a little worried the tactical battle system might not get as much love as the other features of the game. So let me just offer a few ideas that may help from my previous experien
