Part of the problem is that if you don't cover everything with cities to spread your influence, there are hundreds of monsters spawning and attacking the ones you have. Influence stops 95% of the spawn points for monsters.

If done properly, the Sov can be much better than a pushover. But, they really are weak compared to other units. I pretty much use my dragons for damage late game and the Sov is a taxi. All the champions are weak really.
Another thing that MoM had that this game needs. An interface. If you are clicking through your bowmen on MoM and get a melee unit instead, it stays where it is if you miss click. In EWoM, you suddenly are trying to figure out why your Sov is running across the middle of the field. If you right click on anything in MoM you get help on what that item does. In EWoM right click is the new left click and help is nearly non existent. Edit: oh an
Had it cast on one of my dragons and he couldn't hit with his irresistible ability.
When you win a combat, the amount of combat rating the enemy has is the amount of gildar you get at the end of the fight. If you use auto combat, you get what you saw going in to the fight. If you use the manual combat, the combat rating drops during the fight and your gildar reward drops as well. I am thinking that the experience your units get is based on the same stat. This could add up a lot in a multiplayer game and should be addressed relatively soon. Thank
Demons really aren't a bit deal. They are close to end game. But the minions are nasty for early game summons. Demons are also balanced quite a bit by dragons on the other side. There is nothing to compare to the minion.
And wait for this game to be complete. It gets old not being told why something doesn't work or not being able to figure out what something is for. Destiny's slivers? What are they for? Why can one champion equip it and others can't? Why doesn't the map building tool have a paint brush instead of a stamp?
I would say PCGamer is dead on about this game. 6 months of polish and bug repair would have made it ready for release. It still would be light in content, but good enough to release. This company is working to get a reputation like SOE has for games. Wait 6 months before you buy it. If you want to make big money in PC games look at what Blizzard does. 1 million sales the first day on SC2 is about releasing a polished and relatively bug free game consistant
I have had the opposite luck on the game I am in. I barely have any resources and it makes me sad.
Just a few questions I have not been able to find the answer to. 1. What is a Destiny's sliver for? I had like 10 in one game and never ran across anything to do with them. 2. Are research items like The Lost Bounty, which is supposed to get you more food nodes, supposed to keep helping you throughout the game or just provide a node or 2 and never help again? 3. Why are there places to build cities th
Please lets us know when the patch is available whether old save games will be compatible. Some patches they have been. But the small incremental patch that was just put in says they aren't. I would like to have finished that game before patching.
Just a thought. Sometimes when I use quick combat, the turn button will stay grayed out until the combat resolves. It won't resolve unless I am watching the combat. This may be your issue. If not just ignore me.
This might be a bit bugged. This is on a game I have been playing for close to 12 hours. I have had to reload several times due to crashes. Yes, they really were that tough
Posted about this in another thread as well since I didn't see this one. Haven't noticed it on normal units. Just special ones like demons, dragons and umberdroths. I also have noticed the escalating hit points in town. The cap keeps going up and they keep trying to heal up to it. When you take them out of town the cap goes to normal.
I have had this happen twice. I have had stacked units, as in group of 9 or 12 demons or umberdroths, sitting in a town healing. When I load a save, they drop down to being a single unit and not a group any more. This is a large map and I think I have a large portion of the world controlled. I get the same issue. The camera goes way back and then the shot goes off and it follows it. It's worse when the archer in question is not on the screen when he shoots. Then the arrow comes from one corner of the battlefield instead of the archer and it goes there and follows it to the target. Very annoying.
Getting this as well. It seems to be because the item doesn't disappear from the menu until you build the next building.
I have had this happen on several occasions. Sometimes it's just the sound in tactical battle that it's missing. I will watch for when it actually happens. I am using a non sound blaster card. It really rocks and doesn't have any of the clicking issues that sound blasters have. HTO Claro Windows 7 64bit
