[quote who="Neoauld" reply="20" id="2410789"]um congrats you've released 2 new demigods, 0 maps, an overlay, and no extra contact or fixes for the atrocious netcode in the time S2 has released 4-5+ Heroes, features, balance fixes and so on. Why not just admit the games being abandoned because your sales have sucked due to a poor release, and terrible netcode that you *CANT* fix none the less, ill try the new DG's cause this game has potential and

I believe it only occurs when you give an order that requires movement. If, for instance, I give an order like 'summon priests' and then halfway through give the order to 'summon siege archers' the first ability gets cancelled. That means that the origin of the problem with movement, is likely because while you are moving to the position to cast the ability, there is no other ability to cancel, just the move order. I see the order of operations like this for a case where you do
Any forum you haven't posted this on, troll?
Surge of faith effects all units in its radius. If the unit is an enemy, it takes damage. If it is an ally, it gains move and attack speed. This does not just boost your minions. If they are not in the radius they will not attack any faster. However, because the MOVEMENT SPEED of your minions is the same as your OWN movement speed, then they will always get the speed boost, since Surge will always effect you.
Yeah, that would very likely be difficult. I am fairly certain that the replay is simply a record of actions taken by a player. Reversing that would be pretty tricky. Unlike naming replays which I think should be done because it can't be that hard... this would likely distract them from bigger and better things. I agree it would be awesome though :).
i agree with MixMagic...its the same with posts on a forum...u can have 2 posts or 1 yet the one with 2 is just the same words and names with same stats.... (for the lolz)
All depends on where you are coming form. Compare Fireball to Spit instead, as they are both much similar nukes. Fireball: Greater Range, Deals 1.94 damage per mana spent. 1050 damage every 7 seconds. 1 second cast time Spit: Less Range than fireball, deals 1.73 damage per mana, assuming no counter effect. .3 second cast time As most TB players know, fireball is an amazingly good harassment tool, since you can Just.Keep.Casting.It. Spit is nice for a while, but a good
Only way to get that now, is to make it ourselves. Maybe I'll try that at some point.
Oh yeah, hammer double smites are pretty freaking sweet.
One Change at a Time please: A set of changes will almost always touch on a few different parts of game balance. Obscenitor thinks that by us lowering HP from items, that combats will now be too short. I don't agree with all of his reasoning for why he thinks this will happen, but I think that it is a valid worry. WE SHOULD NOT decrease the duration of combats significantly. However please realize that the whole reason that you BUY damage items is because you want to kill faster. There
One thing to note, is that Shield 3 makes the target IMMUNE to Debuff effects. That includes stuns. If you are up against a gank squad (Erebus with charm, beast with grasp, Rook with Roll) it can be the strongest effect to counter them. I would really consider it in these situations. Also pretty awesome vs a 'slow' regulus, since you can shield and just walk away.
It can be frustrating, but I also find it exciting. There is something satisfying about managing those 'pauses' with him to get the most out of a combat.
Okay, so it is just a 'decent item' then, I'm not misunderstanding how people are deriving their damage from it. Good. I thought everyone had gone blooming crazy.
So I watched the come back replay you posted elsewhere, I assume this is the same. I actually really like how you were using circle of flame to trigger blade of the serpent, but I think it also directly caused some of your early deaths, you'd get in too close to drop a circle, and die trying to get out. I recently played a few games with this build: Fireball Fire Aura Rain of Frost Fireball Rain of Frost Fire Aura
I did read that yes, but I think it was commented out, which might mean there isn't any actual sound file for it.
% of the way to 20? That's not a relavent number. Your experience turns into skill points at certain threshholds, that is really the only important thing to consider, the rest is just Lies, damn Lies, and Statistics.
Intersting game. My jaw literally dropped when Cow teleported away from him at melee range.. because Used was level 7 Beast... with like 3 points in stats... and not one point in grasp! This is the kind of comeback you see good teams make. The longer the game, the more build choices make a difference, and there were some stinky ones on the opposite side.
Why do people claim this item does twice as much damage as Slayer's Wraps? It has a melee proc rate of 15%, which means on average it will do 37 extra damage per hit to a single target. Yes, it is obviously nice to do 37 cleave damage on average as well, but that doesn't strike me as so impressive people would get all up in arms about it. Anyhow, maybe people just mean that the damage + Mana regen + AoE make it overall twice as good? Because I just can't get 2x damage in a
I'm not really sure how to reply to this, you don't seem to understand at all the point of 'balance'. We aren't trying to make HP stacking an invalid strategy, we are trying to make it more in line with strategies that increase damage. You use a lot of words up there, like comments about artifacts, or minion swarms, or even Nature's Reckoning vs Slayer's wraps (Which is a different point of balance we could discuss) that have little to do with this: 1. Do too many of the best st
Edited the Table to make it super easy to read. Now shows where you get bonus levels with varying different xp bonuses. Read the notes.
Zygwen, that really isn't what the numbers I posted show. Hmm, maybe I should edit it all into a table to make it easier to understand.
Well, not constant since you can't buy the xp upgrades except at certain point, but I get your meaning. Could be interesting to see, though you may end up burning a frick ton lot of gold on flag locks doing that. Even then, it looks like you won't get a level ahead until about level 5 or 6 (If you someohw always have +50% xp, which necessitates a pretty weak favor item. You would get to level 12 when the opponents are level 10. I'm still not sure that sounds worth it, cons
Combo move with Sedna.. she gives it a light kiss, and it turns into a Developer for 5 seconds. Developers have godlike powers of course.
There is one chief reason the Tome isn't used: Horn of Battle is better. 130 HP to a minion is nothing compared to 2000 health every 30 seconds. You could argue that the Tome gives more raw HP, but a minion build isn't going to suddenly allow for the DG to be in mid combat with just 400 more health. Ultimately, Tome isn't the raw HP strength of Blood of the Fallen, and not the great Minion buffer of Horn of Battle. It does Blood half as well as Blood does, and Horn one twentieth as we
I actually just played an 'incomplete' game today with PedoBear, Pacov and Kalel... no one dropped, and my team won. Here's a link to the game list info: Game I checked Pedobear's record, and see another game he played that was 'incomplete' but... lasted 21 min
