About ur build - everyone will tell u it is one of the worst builds ever
If they tell me a better one then that's great. If they do what you did and tell me to quit the game and stop playing then I'll probably ignore them, maybe have a bit of a cry on the forums. Either way they're not helping me or themselves by being nasty.
Cost of this build is shattering.
Thanks for the tips jongalt, I don't think I've got enough favour for BoF yet, but am saving for it (it was my favourite item when I was playing erebus) Knowing how the shoulder towers affect life steal, do you still think nameroth is worth while over bloodstone? It's about 250 more HP and there's the HPS, so it's very worth while, but at 4k to buy it'd take a long time to get out... maybe something I should switch the bloodstone to? The bloodstone was advice I got from
He got a guy who never played a game before on his team one game and i got him the next time. He never complained about irek so im guessing all was well and he went 0-7 the game he was on ireks team.
Good to hear that he isn't always abusive and intollerant
i'd put more emphasis on the low hp than slow because rooks always slow if you ask me.
first of all you pushed our towers too hard too early and this was a big mistake. Rook can't just run in bash a tower a few times and run out, he's too slow, you have to wait until the front is firmly at the enemies end (i.e. you have back up, you have godl adavantage and are simply stronger than there demigods etc) otherwise you are jsut an easy target for a tele (or even just a walk).
Thanks for the tips Hyrim, [e digicons]:gr

For the rook players in the know, which of his attacks cause a chance of item specials being triggered? He's got auto, arrows, shoulder light tower, treb, and his raised towers. If the arrows trigger for example, the wyrmskin effect, doesn't that make it an awesome item for him?

oh and in case anyone's curious about the skill buld 1 - tower 2 - arrows 3 - hammer 4 - save 5 - boulder + light tower shoulder upgrade 6 - hammer 2 7 - god strength 8 - treb 9 - hammer 3 10 - boulder 2 I don't think I got over lvl 10 in that game, but from there I usually chase hammer, god strength, stat, stat, poison arros, dizzying force and final boulder roll acco

I really shouldn't respond to you but I can't help myself.
U not only didnt say nothing but u also was trying to tell me how to play.
I asked at the start if you guys had played much, one person said not much and I said I'd played "a bit", meaning not much but more than none. When did I specifically say Irek, you need to do blah blah blah? The closest I can think would be that I said two or three times early on that the health flag w

Just had a 3v3 with a bunch of AUS and NZ players, I played pretty poorly and copped a lot of flak from this irek guy who was playing erebus. He basically took offence to something i said in chat (I chat a lot) and thought I was telling him how to play, he went and had a look at my stats (3 wins 8 losses, now 9) and then started swearing at me and telling me I should quit playing he'd rather AI. I don't take stuff like that to heart, but it's annoying and playin

Yeah multi player lobby/mating and menu system UI is definitely my biggest problem with the game. I don't even mind that there's not many maps and not tons of demigods, the main problem is that it's hard to convince my friends to have the patience to get into games (although that has improved a lot since release, just not enough).

Dunno about interrupting sedna, but I played a game night before last where I was fairly consistantly interrupted and chain stunned as rook. My abilities are fairly slow cast so it's relatively easy for players to do that, especially with scrolls and potions. So in a very general way, interrupts are possible and highly effective, especially UB's

I wouldn't say dead, but it's definitely got a lot fewer players than when I was playing about a month ago... I get into games a lot easier but ther other night when my friend and i were trying to find a game we encountered a LOT of drop outs (possibly issues with two players sharing a router?) On the plus side people are more accepting of my Austrlian ping (350 to 400) and it doesn't seem to impact gameplay negatively.

Yeah I'm with everyone else on the re-match to lobby thing. I guess that'd be slightly harder for them to implement, (maybe more coordination between the teams?) but as a user I'd find it far more useful.

Not sure if it still applies, but when I started playing the word on citadel upgrades was: 1st level gold 1st level experience 1st level tower offense and health upgrades creep types right up to catapaults upgrading creep armor, attack, and death time-outs was regarded as largely a waste of money, better spent on either the other ugprades or on items & artifacts.

When you speak about the enemy, I assume you mean enemy demigods, as opposed to enemy creeps, which will aggro the towers and ignore me yeah? When you say buy priests, you mean at the citadel upgrade? I tend to avoid doing that because I read ages ago that they're mostly just an XP boost to the other team... At what point do you recommend buying them? ASAP, Or after a few levels, or midgame?

I didn't think of the drops as a reward/punish mechanism, so much as a 'dynamic landscape' mechanism. Most games I play, when I get a kill, I don't stick around to see what potion is dropped, because his mates are usually rushing to his aid. His mates are usually healthy enough that they don't need the potion themselves and tend to leave it there also, so then later on, when another encounter happens, there's a potion lying around. That makes my tactics for that encounter

My experience is that online connectivity has become pretty reliable, however LAN connectivity is still an issue. I hosted an 18 person LAN about 2 weeks ago, and we tried a few times to get a 3v3 going (all 6 had purchased) and we had one player who had extremely long (like 10 minutes) delays while looking for games. This same player plays with us semi-regularly online and has no connectivity issues at all in that mode of play. We had patchy internet access whi

I played DG a fair while after release, mostly as Erebus. I still find the vamp a lot of fun, but wanted to mix it up a bit with someone completely different and figured I couldn't get much different than the walking fortress. So far I haven't ventured into any online games, only playing against hard ai, yeah I know, piss weak but I want to learn the absolute basics of his abilities before getting slaughtered in custom games. From my extremely brief play testing, I found

I don't think life steal should work if you're not dealing damage... Kind of makes it regen rather than 'steal' doesn't it? It's an aesthetic thing though, nothing to do with balance
