I see that there is a new objectdock program. What programs are not included in Object Decktop and why ? I thought anything that is developed is free to subscribers as long as you renew. You can not can some themes ? You can not get cursor XP pro ? etc.. Unless you pay extra. If there is such thing as premium content. Why can Stardock increase the price to include everything ? <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/i

No big deal, But when I shut done my computer "I am running Windows XP Pro". When the Windows Kernal sends a command to DesktopX to shutdown, DesktopX is not properly responding. I get the a window the program is not responding and will shutdown, with a counter.

You have to really crank up the resolution to get the whole screen displayed. At 1280 X 1024 I can barely read text on my 19" monitor. I wonder this content was developed if the developers acutually thought people have monitors larger than 19" ?

To find a component click on it to use it after I download it does not seem to make sense to me. The name of the program is "Theme Manager" should I not automatically turn on the required components and disable the old stuff ? Is the extra cash for cursorX pro w

Thanks, I kind of remember reading the license applies to the user not a machine. I just wanted a confirmation. I do not want to break any rules. Be kind of hard for me to use more than one computer at a time and they are personal machines only used by me.

You know find strange about this thread it is not physically possible to go to the next star over. Relativity has been tested and it is real and I do not believe than Space can be folded or there in anyway that Faster than Light speed is possible. So how does ET visit even if they are all over the place. If I am wrong and ET does visit, why does he not come by and say Hello ? What am I going to hear next ET a totally Alien has heard of the prime directive

As for American culture, your points are very good. Unfortunately people don't see Americans. They see the American government and American capitalist companies. This unfortunately is what people associate with America. Few multi-national companies (whether American or not) have any morals. Making money is the sole task. They will do whatever it takes and walk over whoever they have to, in achieving profit. This becomes especially problematic in poorer

"You know what? If we still manage to build robots without putting in safe guards and they take over, then I say: Good for them! Sign me up to be a slaveling. Because we don't deserve to exist as a species if at the time we can finally build intelligent robots that we haven't heeded the massive warnings to make sure they don't turn on us." Very funny and very true.

The story of Western civilization, has more to it than Agriculture but I conside it is a factor. The inventions are the key factor, Sure one can make a case the important inventions come from managing crops and live stock but what about Wars. Horses were in North America first, they died off in North America during the last ice age. Nativa American were already here. Remember that both corn and potatoes are North American crops unknown in Europe.

I love to get a tablet PC but the really usefull tool you may expect is not here why bother. I wonder if will ever be built. There are 3 problems, Weight which for the most part is due to the battery, but how can you make a battery to power the machine for at least 8 hours and keep the weight down ? Hardware I can see a tablet with a great processer and memory plus things like 802.11b but really I expect they will need a 3Ghz machine with a 1Gig of

I did run into the same problem Lisa had with credit cards. Bought DVDs for years from a US retailer then they decided Canadian credit cards are no good. As far as iTunes I think it is great but it will hardly change the world. I think most people do not have the time or any real reason to look for and download music from anywhere. I Listen to music everyday but like lots of people use a radio. Now I buy CDs but say if I want a song like George Jones "

I read an article about a new copy protection called "Fade". Sounds like a great scheme. CD drives have error correction, the code looks like a scratch. Copy the CD error correction tries to remove this code. The programmed which is copied then Fades over time. This means people can copy programs and test them for awhile.

I runoint Windowblinds no problem but I had problems with other OD components. My XP machine became unstable and the programs would not uninstall. I had to restore my computer using a recovery point. Should I try them again ? I am also not sure if components some components are user friendly enough.

I do think I get the point. Yes 2 different wars but 50 years ago news was just that news. Not a TV show just out for ratings. Not something that is time aver time biased to the left. Not to say the news was not biased of course it was but CNN in occupied France would be more interested in interviewing the locals.

I do not understand pirates, Stealing is wrong. That is why with in reason I understand and put up with copy protection. Need to get people to think of piracy as a crime using laws. Need to get vendors to think about value. Until this is done there will always be hackers.
