Very cool application. I wonder if any body has every had luck running the default weather docklet on a Canadian city ? I replaced the US Zip code with Toronto, Canada and it can not find the city. Double click and it opens the browser to the weather channel and finds Toronto ? Strange I bought Nature Desktop it has a weather bug which accepts Toronto, Canada.

I went home last night opened SDcentral and I did confirm that OD Subcribers have unlimited download capacity. I took the plung anyway, I did subcribe, not sure if I needed to but for $20. For some reason I did not receive and order conformation from the Stardock Store but I am not to worried because I did get a serial number after I purchase the program and I think if you ever lose your serial number harddrive crash etc... Thanks for clearing up my confusion with the desktopX thing. I just assumed since there is not even a beta for objectbar 2.0 on SDCentral it cost extra. Glad to here it will make it to the OD. I do subscribe to Objectdesktop. You would think part of that would go to the support ? I been OD subscriber for over a year I renewed at least once and in those two years or so I never downloaded more than 5 or 6 items. I may just add the Wincustomize subscription anyway. I am sure this has been asked a billion times try not to be to bitter but I have to ask. I only download windowblind skins, some icon packages, and I am trying to get desktopX objects to work but only download rarely. Does the Wincustomize subscription make sense only if you do a lot of downloading ? What is the extra content Frogboy (Brad) is refering to ?

I saved everything objects are still in the object navigator. Ok thanks they were objects. The objects stopped showing up but only after several days, and while the desktopX manager says they exist. I tried everything but could not get them show up on my destop.
I notice with theme I am using "neOS Neoshell" some drop down boxes have double images. I do not think the issue is with the skin, is this an issue with Windowblinds 4.4 ? Will you always find things that are not 100% skinned correctly.
I like to try DesktopX and please humour me I do not know or care what the difference between an Object and Widget are. Here is what happens. I tried a blank theme and added a "Widget/Object" which turns off my computer. Works fine but after a few days "reboots Windows XP" desktopX loses the button. DesktopX is running but I can find no button. Same thing happens with other objects/widgets I load them and over time when Windows XP loads the objects are gone.<b

I guess I have two questions. Is DesktopX 2 really that hard to understand. Is there Detailed documention I can read a understand ? I am thinking about a 2 page manual not 40 pages of technincal jargon. Is there an easy way to edit ojects ? A user friendly graphical interface would be nice.
I installed a Object Desktop theme. So I get thing like a weather object telling me the weather in France, A links object to some French sites. A tool tip say click on name to change city, nothing works Toronto, Ontario, Toronto Canada etc... I still to this day have not found a way to edit objects. Open them you get cryptic terms like object ID, Z axis etc.... The DesktopX program would me great if people could find out how to use it.
I liked I, Robot . Seen two types of negative comments. The poor acting, boring comments. This film does not match the book.
