Not much to do with the conversation above, but the naming convention a friend used - when designing new units, was: Peasant (the original start unit) Peasant 1.1 Peasant 1.2 Peasant 1.3 Heh.
Should you buy it right now? No. Should you mark it down to come back to? Absolutely. With a solid effort Stardock can make the current mess a great game in 3-6 months. The game has a lot of silly little issues that need to be worked out.
This is why I like Stardock. Brad's a real person and instead of just hiding he stood up and took responsibility and apologized. I wish more companies were like this.
I also completely agree with PC Gamer. Go re-read the article, there are entire paragraphs (multiple) praising Stardock. The writer notes he's a great fan, and that Elemental is a fantastic idea and title. Even after talking about issues, he says he's sure Stardock will fix it; and that for the moment he's not going to finish his review because he's waiting for a major patch.
