Has there been any official word on what they're planning or how much is going into after-release features/content/improvements? I think the game could be a lot better with a few months more development, and it's already pretty good, but it hasn't reached its potential. I've looked for information regarding this and saw two conflicting reports, 1 with Frogboy saying 3 expansions plus lots of new stuff, another with some guy claiming they've mov
been using it since beta days shortly after HL 1 came out. Never had an issue, never had it crash
I love steam as much as anyone but I used steam when it first came out too and it crashed almost every time I used it back then. It has come a long way but in the start it was as awful as anyone says it was
" The spellbook remembers the last strategic spell you cast and starts there when you reopen it" This is nice but could still be a lot better.
That's assuming you even earn the right to build roads in the first place, which isn't nearly guaranteed.
If you go with mancer faction you can build units with roadbuilding from turn 1 and pioneers can build roads. The way roads are implemented right now is fine imo, it is simply the user friendliness of it is extremely tedious. Often times I don't want to start up a game just because I dre
Better implementation of Road Building units; specifically allow for a toggle to auto-road-build on said units [FuzzyGold] x1000
This also happened to me although I'm pretty sure I just clicked to select it and then right clicked to cancel and it disappeared.
I used the largeui mod for FE which is no longer in development. In default FE and LH the lack of UI scaling needlessly hurts usability. It would be nice to have the functionality of largeui mod in the base game, especially in the spellbook and tactical skill bar.
Usability upgrades for strategic spells is #2 on my list of desired fixes.
Building roads early/mid game is a very important part of the game but it requires you to move 1 tile at a time and click the road button with the mouse. Having an option to automatically build roads over the tiles you traverse, and/or even having a keyboard hotkey for building roads would be a huge plus. This was my biggest issue with FE and still exists in LH.

the strategy that was posted where you go henchmen with lightning hammers + shieldwall + group exp bonuses and spam quests is so broken its ridiculous.
Would you be able to increase the portrait size of the turn orders in tactical combat? Would also be nice to extend the spell casting bar in tactical combat so I can see more spells. Great mod btw, exactly what I was looking for.
One other suggestion, have an option to increase the size of the portraits in tactical combat that show the order of turns for each unit. I play at 2560x1600 and the portraits are very small. I am using the largeui mod which helps in other areas but I still can't easily tell the turn order unless i hover over the portraits since they are so small.
The problem is when using strategic spells on entire armies, having to go to spellbook, find spell, select army, select unit, over and over. Please add a way to do this faster, either allow to select multiple units with shift or add a hotkey to "cast last spell" or something like that. Also would be nice if double clicking a unit in a town would select all of the units instead of having to shift click each unit individually. <p
Crysis and Warhead were excellent benchmarks. Oh, and they were mediocre games too.
My game freezes and the sound loops, can't even alt f4 or open task manager, have to hard boot. :( Happened once in like 30-40 games before, happened twice tonight. Turned sound to low quality and reverb off. Hoping that fixes it. Also updated to 186.08 forceware drivers.
Your Erebus who is returning to heal from another stupid semi-suicide attempt succeeds in finishing himself off by accidently eating the -hp potion from his last death,
Pacov, first I wanna let you know that you are being completely reasonable and that it is a bit unreasonable of Stardock to continuously make promises and not keep them. Throwing bullshit at us and keeping us in the dark (the mushroom treatment) is not helping. The various stardock zealots who are trashing you here are a fine example of the idiocy present in these forums. If you say something negative toward stardock or frogboy you will get shit upon. Stand up for thos
There are 3 ladders, pantheon/custom/skirmish. Of course the custom one is the way to go ^.^
Fred_Bonaparte and Zehdon, you guy's should get a room. Just remember to wear a condom - we don't need any more retard babies crawling around, and we've already got our quota of noobs in Demigod. I sheet on yo couch.
Yea another few months in development would of made a lot of sense.
Zehdon since your keen on reading maybe you can read all that and pm me the abridged version. TYVM in advance.
Dude gimme the coles notes. There are posts that are too long, and then there is your post. That is a short story. I read a few lines here and there and it sounds like you got solid points but theres just no way in hell I'm reading all that.
What I don't get is that I have a 4.25ghz quadcore, gtx 295 overclocked, 8 gigs of ram, etc, and occasionally my simscore dips down to ~8 and someone else in the game will have 9, and I ask what they have and they have a 2.xx dual core or 3ghz dualcore or whatever. It's not a constant thing but it happens occasionally and makes little sense to me.
