so ... about that Data.zip file :/ What exactly is that? I want to investigate it but I can't, it's a .tmppk file?

the guardian unit that is spawned could be made a bit better. :/ Half the time I get a 4/4 "Swarm Spider" that is useless ;; I mean, I don't want dragons and drakes left and right but they could be a bit better.
This is a common bug :/ Just don't cheat :P
that's an olddddd bug. I thought they fixed that?
It happens when you merge. Eg, unit with one movement moves into the stack with Organized. The stack will be unable to move (but the rest of the stack can if you deselect the "exhausted" unit)
that's unfortunate...
really, competitive multiplayer means all players will play as Females for the quicker marriages.
they need to re-introduce the cost of cities. They removed the city costs at the same time they reduced your starting gold (you used to start with 500! then it went down to 100. It would have been near-impossible to get a second city up if it cost 400 gold. I think a mix of materials and gilder is the best way to do it. 50-25, for your second city. Each city after that costs an additional 50 Gilder (but no more materials). Unless a city covers a location of particular
I've replicated it. The problem is that you have to research it in a particular order. If you research one technology that raises you to 3, then another that raises you to 2... you drop down to 2. And when you research the technology that "would have" pulled you up to 4, you only go up to 3. I'll look at the XML to determine the "proper" order...
Except there are emails in my inbox saying that it has been "released" and the "Preorder" button in the top-right has been changed to "Purchase". And I'm playing a game MORE advanced than what was released on CD. I do not think distributors would consider a game that people pay for to get a CD with pretty stuff on it, a manual, a cloth map, etc, would consider the game to be "pre-release". It certainly has been "released". It's just not "as released" as it should have been. Not all re
the Day 0 AI isn't in yet. Critique then. Hold your tongues!
ATI card user here, still suffering bad frame rates and memory leaks (and CTD while alt-tabbing). Running a monitor on the process I'm getting nearly 20 Hard Faults for memory every 10 seconds, in particular, while loading a game. They drop down to about 1 every few seconds after that. Impulse throws 5 while checking for internet. Also, could you disable trying to pull down the data from the server on startup? If I have my cellphone connected to the net, the game COMPLETELY locks up (
Ridicious isn't actually as hard (in some ways) as Extreme. Program Files\Stardock Games\Elemental\data\English\ CoreDifficulties.xml Extreme 1.5 <AIFOWChea

also, forgot to ask (I'm on a cell phone connection == very slow internet, so not gonna edit... do not want to know how long it took to download Elemental :/ ) Will our campaigns/saved games be invalidated per patch? Or will they be loading the old XML and using the new kernel? Or is the old XML converted to new XML? Basically... if I have the Ice Spellbook, will I get this new spell? If I have a Sion, will I use the old or the new unit design? and so on.
nice. Glad to see you're supporting us through this early release. Fun game (even though I'm an ATI user which makes things rough ;; ) My poor notebook is getting raped :/ Is there a way we can feed you our technical specifications? I noticed per every ... half an hour? of gameplay it consumes ~200 more MB. I'm on an ATI card (a Mobility series, not the 5xxx series. THAT computer is in the garage right now ;;)
It was in Beta. I'm sad it took it out. Since it is classified as a mod, that makes playing with custom factions impossible in MP. Additionally, I'm worried about people intentionally creating overpowered (eg, the mod doesn't "enforce" a certain amount of "points" like in the Beta) factions and then stomping everyone ._.
This game is 10x more stable on my notebook (which uses a Intel Dual Core, Win 7 x64, 4 GB RAM, Radeon HD Mobile 3400) compared to my desktop (AMD 965 Phenom X4, Win 7 x64, 8 GB RAM, 2x Radeon HD 5850 in Crossfire) Using the exact same settings (I auto-save every turn) and sovereign builds. It could be an issue with the AMD processors?
the reason the threshold button exists is for multiplayer (and good thing too, though if the autoresolve is THAT bad then I'm sure then the multiplayer community will form house rules of a threshold of 0 - or very low). However, it's best to play this single-player with it to 0. Oh no! you have to click one more time.
I really like the Technology, but I would like it to get scoped out a little better. It seems like finding out what techs lead to is totally "random" and found out via trial-and-error more than anything (if I keep going down the Civ line, I eventually get Houses) rather than knowing exactly how many more levels I need before I can get X techonology. I DO like your techonlogy system, and I DO like how it is random. But it would be a little nicer if there were a few resources available
