I rather it be a coupon I can give to someone else. It doesn't do me any good to spend my money on another copy, rather hand the discount off to a buddy or something that is interested in the game. Or use the coupon to upgrade my copy and get a pretty figurine ;)

I think it is too long and complicated for the average folk as well. To put it short, your as strong as your weakest link or rather as fast as it.
how about a third class all together, which there can only be one of in each game. The "commander" which has control over all the units on the field thus can en masse units into certain areas. And will defiantely concentrate more on citadel upgrades.
only nubs gank, if u think ur pro beat someone in a fair fight, thats the reason ppl hate dota, because up-themselves elitists like you
I hate elitist as much as the next guy but ganking is a strategy. You can play a game in such a way to best avoid them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcQQFXpL7a0 it is more a stutter with white noise such as that. It is not that serious but I get intermittant static clicks like that. As if my soundcard or head phones were bugging out but it doesn't happen anywhere else but inside of demigod.
I have an Auzentech prelude based on the X-fi on Vista x64. Anyway I am having a wierd sound stuttering issue in this game, like garbage noise and the such. Anyone else experience an issue similar with this game? Other games seem to work fine though.
I dunno, never encountered this except for maybe one game that felt a little strange.
I find that even a minimal level of communication helps when it comes to building advanced units, and a little help when you need. I found asking someone to buy an advanced unit after you bought one works wonders, since most people don't mind spending a little gold to overpower the other team.
Any good rook players out there want to share strategies? I have having trouble with playing rook. Both gold wise and killing wise, my attacks seem to be terribly slow, sometimes I get lucky with a rock throw and hammer slam, or a silly demigod that can tank my hammer but I am rarely that lucky. In hit and run I am usually bad since I am very slow and can easily get ganked before a scroll goes off. Yes I can stack run speed but rarely able to quickly get the gold to
My idea of a general is stronger units, more focus on zerg tactics and support. Sit in the back, or rush the front of his minions~ weak damage but gains power with the more minions he or she has. My idea of the assasin is the front line tank, that can take a beating and deal solo damage. Nothing much more~ Though with all tanks it can be zerged if not careful and easily disposed of by a good general. On the other hand the assasin has self better
Pretty sure someone will make a singleplayer experience once the mod tools are released.
doesn't bother me. Long games can be fun~
My rook is too sloow, and is more a base destroying beast. Although I have ways to kill a demigod it is a huge challenge, even with my stone hurling abilities to keep them in place temporarily I usually have a hard time getting the killing blow on them since they can easily pop a pot to get away from my grasps. Vice versa doesn't exist for me, teleporting is a tad slow and I take just as much damage as the other demigods =P
Game shouldn't store password on your computer at all. It should be a server side flag imo, or just store username.
You have idiots like that in every game. Unfortuately, with RTS pairing you with only one person rather than a whole team like in other genres, idiots are more likely to open up and blame their teammate directly than simply screaming at their monitor that "their team sucks and they are teh gods of the internet", in private. Especially if you're playing ranked games, in which case expect every 9.5 out of 10 players you're paired with to be egotistica
Not the forums for say @ Keno, this is the 2/3 games I have played online had these bad seeds. Partially because I am not good at the game yet lol. So they try to get me to do what they want me to do by cursing me out, calling me a noob, saying I should die, bla bla bla. It really ruins the fun of multiplayer when you have a teammate cursing at you and doing the normal elitist activities. Would be great if you could ignore players. Especially on your own damn team, I dont play games to get abused, I play them to relax and have fun.
The big 'penalty' for dying is that you have just given your opponent a huge leg up. He probably got significant gold and experience, and even if he didn't, your Demigod has been removed from the action for the death timer + journey back to the action. In short, he's getting more powerful while you're stuck staring at a timer.
Added to the fact that he/she can push you back significantly as you lumber back to rebuild your front.
Will be even greater when the game becomes mod-able. Hopefully there will be ways to download maps and demigods on a peer to peer basis if you allow user mods in search settings.
Obviously you guys have different taste in games then others. Singleplayer is important to some people and with the cast of characters this game has it might be been interesting. Well, single player is important to me in a lot of games, as I primarily play SP. But the fact remains that Demigod was never going to be the great single player experience, it made no attempt in hiding it and it didn't promise a campaign. <br
there are programs such as auto hotkey which lets you make your own bindings and macros but I am unsure if it will conflict with the games bindings. It might be worth a shot though, but customizable keys are a must in any game. Epsecially one with a keyboard involved ;)
Obviously you guys have different taste in games then others. Singleplayer is important to some people and with the cast of characters this game has it might be been interesting. A tutorial would of been nice to teach you about the various structures in this game and their importance rather than you limbering around aimlessly while you don't fully understand why you are capturing certain points. Not everyone is a gaming guru, not everyone picks games up fast. Most pe
Still would kill for a new spellforce game with updated graphics, then you have the new Kingdom Under Fire game which is RTS/RPG/Dynasty Warriors (not circle of doom of course).
