That's what religious zealots do, they turn every topic into being about them and their religion.
Science zealots do the same, I present this thread as evidence. :vulcan:
Speaking of radiation, when you have a radioactive particle, there is nothing that causes it to decay now rather than four seconds from now (or whatever number you want to throw in there). It's random.
No, someday we will find something to manipulate that will either increase or decrease the rate of decay, so I wouldn't say its totally random [e digicons];P[/e] *edit* I just remembered! Cheers for the heads up on this program, much appreciated :)
I took a look at your mods and quickly worked out who you were :) Because you joined up I had to scrap my first map for a bigger one [e digicons]:'([/e] I don't have lawns to mow after work tonight so I'll get the map set up and sent to NT Jedi who will add some fun to it. How good of a player do you rate yourself Xia?

Pretty cheap too. Maybe if I come third in the Elemental "Design a quest" competition I'll pick a couple up :) They are good games that I remember fondly. I'd recommend anyone purchasing check out the quality mods available for them.
The interface is a major cause of headache in Dom 3 :) Using the F1 key is helpful.
I'd say the developers know about the dull world issue and are ramping up to fix it in the announced expansion. Kael, David and Jon have really only just got on board, it will be some time before we see in Elemental much of their work. I've had the game since the beta and watched it develop. After release I vowed not to play it until the famed 1.1 patch, that turned into not playing until 1.11 (due to real life) and the change I have seen is really encouraging.
I sometimes agree with the OP when I come here. I am also a realist and understand that while Stardock allow the language on the forum then it will be used by somebody, even if to just annoy those don't like it. Neither do I think Stardock should police language, but sometimes I think that I wouldn't like children on these forums, reading what some people post. Sometimes

These forums are civil? You must meet a lot of barbarians for you to think that :) I guess they are not too bad.
Most pirates aren't going to run out and fork out 60 dollars on a game because after pirating a game because it's good. I know some people say they do that, and some probably actually do, but I suspect most don't. You do have a point about this weird idea that a pirated copy equals a lost sale. It doesn't, and that's already been proven. There are, of course, perfectly legal torrents too. STO released it's beta client via torrent and it was h

A hint, Its pretty much Bards Tale, but its not Bards Tale I, II or III. I think it had some extras like being able to disarm your opponents.
I think the main problem with all that 'we have to stop the piracy' lies in a big bad missunderstanding. just because i pirated a given game or music, that really doesnot mean i would have bought it in the first place so in this logical sense, i never stole something, since the company didnot lost anything. but, sometimes, a company i would have never paid a single cent because i just wouldnot know them, earns
I wouldn't call it a remake, more a graphics upgrade. I thought it was a console game adapted to computer, the mechanics of it are that retro. Cheats galore and an incredibly clumsy interface, the game seemed like something out of the early 90's, except for the graphics, which are well done. But I cant see what about that game justified it's $20 or more price tag, it's piracy golldangit . There is so much wrong with this game, it

I think Pirate Bay should be shut down. If not for the mega $ corporations then for the little people that lose out where they shouldn't. I remember watching a talk show here in Aus called Insight where they had a local band trying to make a living from their music in the audience with people who were their fans but didn't actually buy their cd, preferring to get it from pbay. What can you say when the creator of something you respect is looking you in the eye and sayin
SBS here in Aus did a good doco about the whole "convince me there are aliens" thing. See: My mum talks to aliens for the doco and SBS for its homepage &
For anyone interested I'm doing a basic AAR of the Dom 3 game Mauxe and I are playing here .
Alright I'll give ya all a go... Played this on the Amiga 500, role playing game, the world is viewed as if in a 3d maze and combat freezes the world and you fight in a turn based method. Any ideas?
I do that in SP games and start not really caring about my turns, its better to play slower than faster.
The link I gave on the previous page is for a dedicated server, we log in and give our orders, when all players (in this case Mauxe and myself) have submitted their orders the server processes the turn. When we next log in we download the results of the last turn. So its a turn-based game but not "you go then I go". We have played I think 6 turns. If you look at them map on my post above Mauxe has his base castle in the patch of forest to the south of me.
Ok the game has begun. I want to test that I can link to pics on the web so here is my starting location Mauxe:
