Remember, the release date is the 24th, so anything before that is a privilege.[/quote] not to be a complete jerk, but i think it stopped being a privilege when stores broke the street date. i pre-ordered so i could play it a day early, and now i find that if i had just gone to best buy yesterday i could have gotten it a whole weekend early. i think what the stores did by breaking th

point of clarification: stardock didn't develop demigod, they only published it. they did, however, go out of their way to fix it after its initial developers, GPG, had moved on. Stardock is probably the best in the business when it comes to post-release support. They game will be good at release, but your right, they won't have gotten all the bugs. In my mind, tha'ts no reason to delay purchase, all games have bugs at release, but not all developers are as good about s

i haven't seen any evidence of it, but it would be cool if there was. would be cool to have to take weather into account in combat, like rain makes it harder for archers to shoot far, or fog limits vision, stuff like that.

So I've been wondering if there is any mechanic for guerrilla tactics in Elemental. Like if i wanted my fighters to use stealthy hit and run tactics setting up ambushes and such, can i do that? I've always preferred non-conventional warfare whenever its an option, for instance in Fall from Heaven 2, the Civ4 mod, the Svartalfar faction's recon units were thier strongest units and they survived by taking the fight out of the cities and using hit and run attacks to whittle down invaders before

I was a huge fan of both Galciv2 and Sins, what impressed me most about both of them was stardock's (and Ironclad for Sins) post release commitment to listening to the players and improving the game. Galciv2 had 3 xpacs! three! most games these days don't even get one. they get a few $5-$10 dollar DLC packs if your lucky, but then the devs have pretty much moved on to the next game. vanilla Galactic Civilizations 2 was a very different game than what we had after the 3r

did anyone ever play Netstorm? that game destroyed my freshman year of high school. it was released by Activision in 1997 as part of the 1st generation of multiplayer-over-the-internet focused games, didn't get alot of attention though. Basicaly, the world consists of floating islands, you control your high priest and the object is the capture and sacrifice your opponents high priest. to do this you build bridges from a selection of random bridge pieces of various shapes and sizes. on
