[quote who="pacov" reply="51" id="2994229"] Quoting Derek Paxton, reply 43 Today we had an argument about which was faster, running backward or skipping. Toby bravely agreed to champion the cause of running backward while we all agreed that Leo (who painted all the incredible spell paintings) was our most gifted skipper. Do these sorts of things happen at other companies? Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the 2011 Michigan Wolverines. I kid, i kid.

Here is the complete change list for the v1.39 beta: + Training Times for soldiers reduced based on population + Reduced reliance on critical sections to improve performance, decrease chances for a race condition + Weapon and defense rolls are now bell curved (rather than a single strike attempt, many strike attempts are simulated for more normalized damage) + AI bonuses reduced. At normal difficulty the AI gets the same stuff as player. </p

He's more like a hit and run tactic with his skills. Well, that's their problem if they get angry after all, it's only a game and you cannot learn without trying him and having advice from other players... [quote who="Wintersong" reply="163" id="2870018"]Well, first: we don't really know what Stardock is planning for FE. I expect Stardock to treat Elemental much like they did to Gal Civ II though. Will it be WoM plus some changes? Will it be "Elemental almost 2"? Something in between? Fallen Enchantress is nothing but a name to differenciate it from the base game. I'd say that Elemental (WoM is just part of it, not the whole thing, which I think that creates confusion among some peop
They are still coming, its just like A_Feest said, they got pushed back in the queue of things to get done with all the 1.1 stuff. Cant give you an ETA (because I don't know one) but know they are being worked on.
I need to find the right person to ask still :) still working on it
A lot of the balance issues in Elemental are symptoms of gameplay systems that, due to their intial design, are pretty much impossible to have balanced. The problem is not that '_____ values are too high' or something, its that the intrinsic flow of combat and progression need to be overhauled. 1.1's balance changes were done to take the systems we have now and balance them to a playable extent without overhauling everything. With FE we have the opportunity to go into system
