Except those 8 towers will all be in one area making them completely avoidable unless you let a rook get behind you and summon for a min and 20 seconds. Really I find erebus to completely counter rook's hammer, 3 of his skill straight counter it. (Mist is near instant, stun, and bat swarm through him) Rook is basically the assassin version of QoT to me, can do ok vs demi's but he should be trying to get rid of the buildings / supporting team-mates.

On the other hand constant spits on demi-gods forces them to stay away from you or forces them to retreat costing them exp. You can outlevel other demi's pretty fast when they're afraid of going anywhere near you. (really only works on people other then sedna and erebus. I'd say QoT but she pretty much gets whipped anyways when it comes to fighting other demi's.)
I have to say this item is terrifying when used with UB. Especially when UB's rage is max rank where he can't be slowed. It's not even fair if the UB is using an ashkandor and a team-mate gives him the buff.
If this DIDNT happen they'd be broken. They work fine.
Save for early game they're not exactly a threat.... you can only have 8 up for a short time and they all need to be in the same area. Doesn't seem all that useful to upgrade past 6 cause of it.
Hey it could've been worse.... http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k286/Ladyreaperlx/?action=view¤t=Maxdps.jpg (was a fast money fast game speed match, was trying to see how regulus dps comapared to UB's. UB had about 400 dps more with the same set-up due to skills. Highest crit I saw was vs QoT for 4076 and she only had 4675 life....) But i'm guessing that's roughly what the regulus had. <img src="file:///C:/DOCUME~1/MARTIN~1.MAR/LOCALS~
Everyone knows about the "Adjust Speed" setting in the options menu, right? Just go in before the game starts, set it to "adjust speed" and you have a scale of 20+ settings to put the speed on (use - &+). I used speed -10 to let my friends learn the game; -3 seems to be their speed of choice for gameplay. I like -1. For the OP, he could use +3 - +5 with people; a comprimise of speeds. But I too dislike "
Two issues i'd like to see some resolve on as well pweez. 1. Deep freeze and Mass charm both giving you cooldowns on skills you weren't even using. 2. Demi-gods getting stuck, I've noticed it alot with everyone but regulus and QoT. (but i've only played her once.)
I actually prefer to save up the 4250 for the 4000 health/mana regen gem over getting the helms. That being said I usually play as UB who doesn't use a massive amount of mana.
!? UB + venom spit = not a massive amount of mana?
I generally buy level 2 archer idol, avoid buying the melee one till the end as they really aren't that worth it compared to priests and range. Prioritize getting better equipment first though, except for getting archers as they can outrange towers right off the bat and helps taking them down long before most other demi-gods can. I idsagree with avoiding getting shield even if it's 1v1. The use I find for it is when you chase them behind
Rooks hammer slam is a great finisher for stunned enemies.. the wind up animation is filled with tension. You should look to hammer slam stunned players, thats what i believe its designed for. BTW: quickly running out of the fog and smiting an enemy is skillful... You have killed an enemy... thats the point of the game...
By that same logic I could 1 hit you from across the map everytime you spawned and by your logic
Either that or an item that disables either one or all crystals for a time.

WOW
There's an eject system which is rather strict atm so that's part of the problem. @OP might I suggest checking out the strategy forum or playing single-player a bit till you can beat hard/nightmare ai. Avoid having team-mates in single-player as they're generally more a hinderance then help. (although a hard UB was pretty good last night)

I've only had one bad apple online, because I was killing him with UB in a matter of seconds, late game. (imagine that, the burst demi-god BURSTING YOU DOWN) It may also be the connection stuff is bad so people aren't happy that when they play they end up playing someone much better then them.
There is one problem with oak.. parasitic egg on another general = game over. Espcially on erebus since he has so many night stalkers. Dear god does it ever rape erebus.... As people have said though general are simply assassins with minions. Sedna and QoT are really the only pure support generals. Ithink people are just mad that simply running up and attacking a general doesn't mean they instanly win. Espcially with oak you want to fight him like a rook, wittle him down and abuse the
Quoting GenoZStriker, reply 5I feel that the Demigods base movement speeds are very low. Even when you buy boots for movespeed they still walk very slow. It is annoying since the maps are big and it takes them forever to walk back and forth. Buying Teleportation scroll is not the idea either. But I guess it is also because of the animations and cast time, since they would easily avoid the spells. I also agree with the second. &nb
theres a nice post in the strategy section about playing the Oak, you should check it. Buying idols for the oak can be usefull but only the monks dont get fighters or the other ones.
I highly disagree due to how useful archers are at taking out towers. Espcially if you leave them alone then go to the other side of the map. If they kill them you just summon them again and start to attack towers near
My first game had my team-mate and I pushed back to our citadel on crucible but we maanged to pushback due to use focusing on getting rid of the of creeps forcing the demi's to pull back. Ending up getting mageslayer then eventually the all-father ring as UB and came back to win the game. Personally think the rarity makes it that much more fun.

I haven't played against many skilled players yet, but enemy assasin demigods havent had too many problems with my minions when I play as Erebus, and I never have issues with enemy minions. I usually just ignore high HP minions and think of them as small DoT spells that are applied to me, which will end when I kill the enemy general, if you keep moving most of them will hardly ever even hit you anyways. She has very low weapon damage and even her offensive abilities lend themselves more to helping others kill (-armor and snare) than actually killing opponents herself. With Bramble shield she's a great supporter, and with Mulch and Shamblers she can keep herself alive even longer, but you could

Was the teleport fixed in today's update? Cause I could still do it with the artifact cloak when I was TB. It was a custom game too.
