Came here to post to same issue. Summoned the Pyre of Men 6 different times and all it ever did was get used for swarm bonuses then died.

Like lots of other people said, I use Warden and High Tower quite often, usually on the same outpost. I never looked at stables but I imagine I'll start using them on unit hubs now. Caltroops seem silly since enemies can just counter the outposts. The offensive and defense upgrades seem OP and slightly cheesy to be honest because I believe they provide an even higher boost then being stationed in a city would? Never really looked into the extra growth optio
LOVE shadow world and blood curse. I feel so powerful just thinking about them o.o
300 turns, no crashes. I'm so happy :D (the AI is still kinda easy though...)

I really liked 'Nexus: The Jupiter Incident'. It put you in COMPLETE control of all the weapons and defense systems of between 1 and 12 ships. I would say it's a star ship simulator, it's just sleek enough to let you handle a small fleet of them. Im just kind of upset that it was a student project at some school, so there are like no chances of any kind of sequel. I haven't seen much like it come out yet. Maybe 'Battleships Forever' or 'Gratuitous Space Battles' but they don't look nearly as
