Well food shortages and city level requirements but i really agree that there should be more buildings with city level restrictions. Also, houses are more efficient per food then shacks (or whatever its called).
The main hold-up is apparently Havok, if i remember correctly.
Doesn't ctrl+(either arrow or numpad) work? i'd check but im booted up in another OS.
Well the length depends on how you play it. One thing i think should be done is though, is prevent menu skipping by enter, thats infuriating, maybe the menu can only be skipped after 1-10s and then all subsequent ones can be skipped instantly.
Empire... battle between those 2 sides, (although, hypothetically) a third may be nice, maybe in an expansion pack, with the sea beings fighting for land...
(minus texture sizes and perhaps a couple of other settings which i haven't fiddled with) this game seems to just fine on my computer at max and Although my CPU is higher spec, my GPU is the real bottleneck (Ati Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT (3/4 years old!)) and the game hasn't had any noticeable drops in frame rate. the only thing that is really slow (by my eye) is the map generation and after a very long game, due to the memory leak.

I understand the post apocalptal thing, yet its not game friendly in the long run IMO. I truely think you should have to level your town up before you recruit people to defend it. Say a house after the first ten people, and then you can recruit a squad of five or six guys to defend the town. Befor
