Im not really sure why you're having these issues, tried changing the download location in your steam preferences>Downloads + Cloud? Steams always saturated my home connection (only 18mb/s), and i know from others that they will also saturate a 100-500meg connection very easily, if you happen to have one.

Well the length depends on how you play it. One thing i think should be done is though, is prevent menu skipping by enter, thats infuriating, maybe the menu can only be skipped after 1-10s and then all subsequent ones can be skipped instantly.

Empire... battle between those 2 sides, (although, hypothetically) a third may be nice, maybe in an expansion pack, with the sea beings fighting for land...

(minus texture sizes and perhaps a couple of other settings which i haven't fiddled with) this game seems to just fine on my computer at max and Although my CPU is higher spec, my GPU is the real bottleneck (Ati Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT (3/4 years old!)) and the game hasn't had any noticeable drops in frame rate. the only thing that is really slow (by my eye) is the map generation and after a very long game, due to the memory leak.

Why not just create one big pre-parsed xml for non modded versions for the game. Which is bundled with the game and tie it in with 'blob' of xml? Or get the installer to do it during install, iv noticed people dont really mind too long install times.

I understand the post apocalptal thing, yet its not game friendly in the long run IMO. I truely think you should have to level your town up before you recruit people to defend it. Say a house after the first ten people, and then you can recruit a squad of five or six guys to defend the town. Befor

You could create a starbase designed and coded like a planet but similaraly to fleet graveyards you could have them auto spawn there and you could give ships the ability to capture them. Though you wold have to find away around the one sb per gravity well or you will have problems. [e digicons]^_^[/e]

Until then, if you wish to continue playing this mod I suggest that you do not upgrade to the new versions unless you back up your Sins folder and run the mod from there until I am able to get these changed over and up for the public. Due to the fact that I will be upgrading b

You could just give the ability to destroy more mines to the Flak and Siege Frigates but Leave it as a researchable ability, a research station or two beyond the mines ability. It could be called phased rounds and do as the name suggests, launch phased round or weapons. You could explain them being different from Vasari phase shifted missiles as they only have the ability to enter phase space, not exit it and caus
