Low materials are easier to fix with lots of improvents and your population bonus, low food is very hard to fix. I have, on occasion, (for later settlements) settled for a city-site that only added up to 7 total (such

Paraphrasing the Original Poster (OP): Humility -- One, or Two, or Many Cities ?? Here's One View: I have played three complete games on a small map.
Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of this genre, but ultimately decided not to purchase E:WoM due to the reviews and comments posted by the gaming community at large. Based on what I have read and seen so far, Fallen Enchantress is truly shaping up to be the game that I had hoped E:WoM was going to be. My plan was to wait until development completed, reviews came out, and then reevaluate if this title deserved a purchase. Plan
Of course, it is probably best to preserve the choices. But if memory usage becomes a bigger issue in the months ahead (in other words, total memory required keeps getting bigger, because more features are added or enhanced), then I would suggest that turning outlines off should be the default. Personally, I think it looks just as good with the outlines off.
Question: Quoting Heavenfall, reply 127 If the game was a five-dimensional portal, and one end was the sound of summer, and the other end was the colour of dreams, in what manner of time units would you describe the current state of the beta, mutatis mutandis?
This intro does kind of make me feel like the Sovereigns are somewhat weaker in the game than they are in the intro. In the game they're just a hybrid of a pioneer and a hero, as we've stripped them from all the special stuff they had in WoM.
Interesting Observation! ... Can't really say that I would argue with it either. However, on balance, I still like the Intro video
Winnihym, I'm with you. I think stability should be the primary focus of the developers, and so do others. A significant portion of the surveyed voted for this, and I would imagine the beta testers are more computer aware and hardware endowed then the general gaming populace. The point being that FE would have major stability complaints in the market

It's mostly demographic info and buying trends. I voted for the Developers to expend more effort on Performance.
