If you are American, you can't possibly complain with a straight face about this. I mean, the RIAA is just doing what your laws allow. If you disagree strongly with their behaviour then emigrate, stage a revolution, or go back to sleep while you're waiting for the next travesty. PS I'm not American. For those who lack reading comprehension this is not an accusation of lack of patriotism. It's an accusation of apathy and failing to be involved in your own government. No

I've seen some really pathetic footage trying to hide in plain sight beside rocking sound tracks so I must disagree with the OP. I feel like murdering someone when I see a great song apprpriated in this manner. It's like the director (or whoever) is trying to trick people into thinking the movie is not crap. If it didn't work on so many people I'd be less angry :P

Come on, Natalie Portman in a movie about ballerinas? What did you expect... dancing, torrid emotions, rivalry, jealousy... it's a seminal example of a chick flick. Unless you're female of course it was boring.

I have my Commodore 64 copy of Ultima IV, with hand written quest notes and tips in the box with those 5.25" disks... and cloth map! I'm never selling it unless someone offers me a jillion dollars... anyone?

Try Mass Effect 2 if you haven't yet. It's not a flight sim or a space shoot-em-up (the action elements in the game are mainly 3rd person shooter style with a few other things thrown in). It's definitely an adventure with an amazing story and a heart. I dare say it made me almost choke up a couple times (I'm no wuss! shut up! [e digicons]^_^[/e] ) You can travel the Milky Way in your upgradeable ship and explore many areas that usually have 2-5 solar systems that in turn have 1-6 planets or

Having just completed the campaign myself I must agree. I was all ready to conquer the rest of the map after this upcoming dragon fight. Turns out I built multiple squads of "Axemans" (!) for naught. The tutorial's pacing also seems off. My three towns ran out of anything to build other than spamming extraneous workshops long before the required events to complete the campaign quests could possibly have taken place, and that was with a 5-movement army. The map is too spread out and has too man

Aha, I did turn on auto explore on the first free ship you get after they gave me a bigger one. It worked for several turns though. Anyway thanks for that tip, at least I can continue the game even if unable to cast strategic spells. Regarding skipping the campaign, I don't really feel like missing out on it because it introduces me to the game concepts and such, so I'm not clueless in the sandbox :)

I have asked in other forums and it seems Relias should have a Cast Spell command, but he does not. Can someone from Stardock please investigate this and tell me if my game is bugged? Or if I'm crazy and just doing something wrong can you describe in excruciatingly fine detail the series of mouse movements and clicks I need to do to cast a spell? Thanks... I have posted my save game at: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/18956304/6.EleS

I've never installed any mods since I didn't really begin playing until the latest patch. It's as clean an installation as you can get. But this is not the only problem I'm seeing. Occasionally the names of cities get mixed up - for instance the purple guy in my campaign is in a city named Altos and my capital is called Veanlu, but it says Altos over my capital AND his city. Even worse, which just now happened, the game will not proceed to the next turn! I even realoaded from an auto

No, there is no "cast spell" in his commands. Clicking on Relias so that only he and not his entire army is selected, I've got Auto Explore, trade items, Guard, Pass Turn and Visit Shop. That includes what is in his More Actions popup. This seemed like the natural place to find it but... what gives? I believe it's broken.

I've been wanting to cast Regeneration on Janusk in the campaign game so I don't have to spend several turns walking back to a friendly city to heal his 17 hitpoints damage. I can't figure out how to cast a spell outside of combat. How would I accomplish this seemingly simple task? Please be specific, don't give general answers like "open your spellbook" - well, how would I do that? I can't find anything like that on the screen. Also searching through the various hints and help in the Hiergam

Thanks, I would never have thought to zoom out to the cloth map for a clue. Some sort of distinct marking in the normal view could have saved me many turns of wandering!

I've completed the campaign up to the point where I am following the survivors' tracks from Krandir. Then I get to an area where it tells me I am following a false trail and to turn back. OK, I turned back. Nothing. I have now turned on the grid and set foot in every square / tile between where I get the message and Krandir Pass. Am I missing something? Do i need to go back into Capitar? This is not the first time I have thought a quest marker might be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

To me accessible means there is not much of a learning curve which means there isn't much depth to the game. I don't care if I have to spend years learning the intricacies of the game, just for Sid's sake don't make it shallow! I DO NOT WANT a Civ that any casual gamer can "pick up and play" and win. I lost I don't know how many games of Civ 4 before I won one, and my ratio of wins to losses is low to this day. I also own Civ Rev for my PS3, being a series fanatic and all. I can't los

This one's driving me nuts and makes tactical combat a real pain. Often, the correct action is NOT to act. I'm not gonna charge every single time. So for sovereign and champions, the space bar seems to skip their current turn in tactical combat. For other units, no way Jose. Is this a bug or what? Some command that I've failed to discover? Please help. Thanks
