This is not generic to all "abandoned workshop" quests; but on this map this one particular quest everytime I enter the game crashes. The text Deal with Skaths comes up (note that during this game I have successfully already completed a very similar quest); when I select deal with skaths; it brings on the skaths and then crashes. I have a save; I've tried this 10 times with same results. If someone at stardock wants the save drop a note.

Yea at first I thought it never showed up (since others have reported this bug); then i thought it might be stacked; then i finally discovered what happened; it placed it in the army even though there were no free slots. No it was in the army; I couldn't access it until I moved and went into combat. I was able to fix the issue by enlarging my army and then I could move the pioneer out of the army.

I had an army size of 4; and max size of 4. I won the pioneer via quest; they were inserted into the army but are now only accessible during combat.... bleh.

I'm mixed; several of the reviews suggest the person had not spent much time playing but there is at least one detail middle score (5 or 6) that seems well thought out. Anyways not everyone likes everything and the internet allows for a crazy sort of approach. I've already express my views on this game so no need to repeat; but in summary it certainly is not a 0 or 1; and it is certainly not a 9 or 10; and quite frankly very few games (almost none) are 0/1 or 9/10.

Game of the year? Naw. The below is my opinion based on the games I have played past and present. While I would label torchlight 2 the bargin of the year (it was $20 new; $15 for many); I would not label it the game of the year. For me it lacked depth and personalty. While an older game I felt titan quest (plus expansion) had far better class development and was much more interesting. Warlock Master of arcane was fun for a game or two but has many flaws and lack of dept

These threads are great; they pop up where i've already been. Bleh. I don't feel bad about the thread; I mean like I've done all the quest and killed everything but the two groups of soldiers looking for them (as an indication of how many times I cross the map looking for them I have now built all buildings and completed all research for the scenario while looking for them).

I did trigger the quest and I did go north south east and west until the entire map in all directions was cleared (well there is that thing that blocks the pass through the mountain). I did find a statue that looked like a demon but i can't go past that.

I never saw anything labelled as demon but what if i killed them before reaching the abby (I do have two demon horns) would that break the quest ?

Ok - I'm probably being dense here but I believe that I have cleared the entire map 'cept for the two groups of soldier armies; but for the life of me I don't see demons reuired for the 1/2 keys ? I even found two demon horns but no 1/2 keys ?

Weird mine is also 30dea2f8f98d7a2d2d26a5b5ee96fae8 :) I am a bit concern that so many folks are seeing corrupted version; I wonder if they have a bad copy in cache somewhere ?

I think the issue is specific to him; I downloaded all three 3GB starting around 7:00 or 7:30PM EST. The download rate was pretty quick using firefox 16 over comcast. The game installed just fine and dandy. Does SDC indicate the low level error when it has an issue (is it having problems with the connection dropping; being reset; or writing to the disk; or other?). Do you have a firewall that could time out the connection or a proxy that could have issues ? Can you get the IP of the server an

I'm personally a sp (single player) sort of person and would rather have a glorious sp game than a game that is shabby sp and mp. I much rather have long rpg'ish 'scenarios' than mp and kind of hope the next expansion is additional complexity to the game; includes the ability to use books in the trade screen (can't have a post without that comment :) ) and a very long 'scenario' with lots of complex rpg stuff :)

Note that older browser will have problem downloading the game due to it being larger than 2GB (int vs long long). I've used firefox 16 and have used chrome. Also with a game this large if you have any sort of memory issue (parity errors) it is likely to cause issues due to more memory being touched (though to be honest here I'm more familiar with how linux manages i/o buffers than windows).

Does webbing multiple times make the web last longer? Also why web an archer in the first place - at least in the beta when web I could still use archers just fine; they just couldn't move ...

Well steam supports the ability to register third party keys (not 100% sure how this work but I have several games I purchase from other companies or in box forms that are not steam-works games but i can still (optionally) register the key on steam. It is true with these box games I could give the game to a friend and just play the version off steam (the ones I have have cd checks when using the box version). Anyways If I could register FE on steam I would so I didn't have to download 3+G

Too late; he already was. Anyways FE has a few flaws but it is fun.

I always play campaign. I like a good story. The one in AOW2/AOW:SM were long but not that great; some of the user addons are fantastic (though in all honesty i stopped playing AOW2/AOW:SM 3 or 4 years ago; graphics became too dated). Anyways not to distract I hope Elemental has a great campaign. Debating if I should download now (I played the betas up to 992); or wait a bit and hope they fix some of the bugs; something about my play style seems to bring out the worse in games and I ran into

Well the bugs are bugs; feature requests are mostly along the lines of gui changes and those are a matter of opinion and my guess is stardock disagree with my opinion (or have higher priorities). - Anyways you can find my posts easy enough (this site has some nice features) so you can judge for yourself.
