Any idea what determines magic defense/resistance? Is there anyway to view it on individual units? Sorry if this has been asked before, couldn't find anything on it using search

ha ha, never! My sovereign is happily married.....although maybe thats why his wife doesn't seem to be having any children..... but seems like a strange gameplay oversight to me, maybe we'll see a culture system implemented that would change that a bit

I've noticed that when I capture an Empire city as a kingdom sovereign, not only do I have the improvements already built, but also I have the option to build the kingdom equivalent that would normally be a once per settlement building. Is this normal, is there any downside to keeping empire buildings? Seems a bit odd to me that a kingdom would keep around a forced labor pit....

Thanks for the quick response. About the crowns though, It always says 50 after the sovereign and often 0 after champions even if they have gained some. Also this happens regardless of the group faced, so still a bit confused. As far as the charisma goes, seems like a worthless stat on champions then....

Just a couple quick questions 1. If not picked when creating a sovereign how do you get certain spellbooks? Researching advanced spellbooks gave me enchantment and summoning, but what about fire, water, air, and earth? Is there a tech or are they found through adventuring? 2. I have Elemental pre-ordered and was just wondering if the early edition of the game released to pre-orders and beta testers will be the gold version or the day-0 version. Haven't been able to find a clear answer looking around, thanks.
