Does your Sovereign have teleport or the Return spell? What happens if you group them up and teleport away somewhere?
The problem was that I couldn't control their movement to group them, they started off all at the same tile so grouping wasn't a big deal except I had too many units for one stack. I had many separate stacks and I couldn't recombine the caravans.

I played a bit longer and while I still couldn't move my caravans they took off on their own heading across the dangerous world to find their original destinations. I cast the spell of making before they were all eaten by wandering spiders.
While I love this spell I've had wo problems with it. First it summons all of my caravans Second my unfortunately summoned caravans are buggy and I can't move them after the spell. Is there some way I can get my caravans moving again?
I played again today I had a battle where a hero could escape but not the pioneer with her. Can pioneers not leave a tactical board for some reason?
Playing my first game of 1.1 I found that in both of the fights where my sovereign was present and I wanted to run I could only move my sovereign off of the tactical board. For all of the other units there was no option to move on to the escape squares. Is this as intended (if so why?) or is it a bug?

Having an action button for it was sorta redundant.
I see now, I was looking for the little shield symbol from the Betas. Thanks
I made a new sovereign for a new game with the new patch and a few turns in I bought him a nifty club. I saw that the equip button was no longer on the picture so I opened up the description. Unlike Janusk who had a button to equip the character on the description page underneath the description of his abilities my sovereign's screen was entirely filled with abilities and I had no way to scroll down to where I presume the equip button is. I think that altering the equipm
"If anything, we get complaints from people saying the auto-resolve does better than they do." If that is true it'll be a refreshing change from beta 4.
I believe that you have twice as many people available to be used as troops.
I'm not sure that this has been brought up before but I've seen it in playing the Beta. You can select spell of mastery as a victory condition but still play on a map that does not have a full set of shards on it. It would be nice to either not allow spell of making victory to be selected if you're playing on a map without at least one shard of every type or to populate any map with at least one shard of every type if the spell of mastery victory condition is chosen.
d maybe I don't, but performance seems consistent with this, though I have not labbed anything thoroughly): Consider 2 solo units. I had this when I had a transport that seemed to have move issues, I either took it on or off auto explore and I was able to advance the turn.
Wait, is there some way for me to take my three individual forward observers and make then into a single unit?
I'm not so bothered by the emptiness if the field as I am by the fact that my archers point their bows in random directions and the arrows shoot behind their backs to the tile I selected and that the tile to target a specific unit is not always the tile that their graphic is on.
I had this happen twice during a game at different location, however I found the quest at a third location and it worked as I imagine it was intended to.
Thank you, I needed this
I'm not doing the beta test but I did just watch gorrtagg's video on sovereign customization here . In it he chooses the ugly characteristic for his sovereign but this choice doesn't actually change te appearance of the sovereign. Would it be possible to have the character model become asymmetric after making this choice? that is have the eyes located different distances from the center of
You don't like tactical battles yet you like MoM. I'd assume that you weren't then fond of the battles in Age of wonders or Age of Wonders II or else you wold have mentioned them (That's a honking big assumption I realize). They seem to be very similar to me. So, going further down my path of unwarranted speculation The access to two quite similar tactical battles, one which you're fond of and one which your not, should make it a fairly simple matter to spot the differences,
I've seen it paraphrased here but it is IMO better to go with the original: "Speak softly and carry a big stick" -Theodore Rosevelt (who was quoting an African proverb so I guess it's not really the original)
Some (relatively) recent RPG experiences come to mind. In D&D (Ebberon) two years ago I ran a changeling (shape changer for the uninitiated) diviner specialist wizard /unseen seer while he was a very interesting psychologically and morally complex character who had lots of great adventures none of that is going to help the game. But what "he" was could work as a cool NPC. What he was, was a character who was a master of deception who could read minds, cast divina
I'm very enthused at the possibility of each spellbook reflecting the personality of it's creator. For example: I'd like to see the book of Alexander the desert wanderer as a book that reflects Alexander's needs as someone who wandered the desert in his day, and a book that reflects his abilitites as a master of transformation with a focus in animals. So there would be a spell that summoned a wall of scorpians to protect an encampment for a few turns a spell to t
