Thanks everyone for all of the research into this. I really appreciate it. It turned out for me to be an issue with garmin forerunner being plugged into the usb port on the side of my dell monitor (dell 2405fpw). Once i plugged it into a different usb port, the problem went away. Thanks again.
I am running windows 7 and am trying to setup tweak 7 so that i can start up without entering my password. This worked great with tweak vista but now, i am getting an error message that it cannot write to the registry key. Is there a fix for this. Thanks in advance with any help on this.

I am running vista ultimate and whenever i load wb7, i keep getting a werfault.exe error and my computer crashes almost everything i try to run. Thanks for any help.

DrJBHL; Here's the theme that's in the screenshot. It's not all my work. It's pieced together from the Aero theme that's included with Winstep. I only modded the startbar/start button. I was tweaking a skin (for my own use not for distribution) and there is a black highlight that occurs on the more programs button in vista that i would like to get rid of. I can handle the text highlight for that button just fine but, for the life of me i can't turn off the black highlight. The skin is Zing....It's a master skin......I would post a screenshot, but the highlight doesn't get captured. Thanks....

I am running an vista home premium machine with amd x2 5000+ and an xfx geforce 8200 mb. with two gb off ram. My nvidia drivers are current. I am noticing quite a bit of stuttering in the video when i am using large dreams. (like utopia prime) I check task manager and notice that explorer jumps from 75,000 k to 169,000k. This seems like a lot of memory usage. Any thoughts.

I found the answer elsewhere about uninstalling windowblinds 6, reboot, reinstall windowblinds 6. That works if anyone else runs into this. This issue should be a sticky if it's not already.

I understand that this may seem a trivial matter. But, the purpose of most of your applications is to enhance the appearance and usability of the desktop is it not? Having to reposition this is a nuisance and certainly is not enhancing the desktop experience. While i can continue clicking and dragging the dock back to the position multiple times a day, it may just be easier to click once and turn it off. As far as positioning the dock to the left or right, the same thing happens only the off

As the subject says, My Colors is causing problems on my Vista Ultimate machine. I get a lot of "the referenced instruction......." error boxes that appear whenever i apply a theme from inside of My Colors. Then, i can't restart MyColors to reload the default Vista theme as i get an error box "C:\Program Files\Stardock\MyColors\ThemeMgr.exe The extended attributes are inconsistent." It also crashed OD plus....... Thanks in advance.
Has anyone looked into this any more? It's still happening. Almost any game that changes the desktop setting and then restores it causes the dock to be off center. My settings for the affected tabbed dock: Positioning: Show as drawer (At top of screen) Appearance: Use Zoom effect Tab Alignment: Align Center View: Lock Dock Position Thanks.....
