WB Per pixel shadows in OS Customization WinCustomize Forums

Is there a way that i can disable the shadows on a per pixel skin without also disabling the per pixel effect on title bars etc,? I occasionally run a video desktop and the shadows really look ugly. They are just solid black. Thanks in advance.

I am having trouble performing searches within a certain category on the new website. For example, if i go to the "Object Dock" gallery and choose "Dock Backgrounds", and then do a search, i am returned to "All categories". I know i must be missing something......

Thanks all. A reboot did work for me. I have since switched to another skin w/o transparency as the problem reappeared soon after the reboot.

Cursor XP and transparency in WB 5 in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

When i am running Cursor XP along with a WB5 skin with transparency, the mouse cursor appears to move behind the transparent areas. This is really awkward when you are clicking on buttons to close or minimize windows. I also noticed that it is doing it with OD plus docks that have transparency. It also does it with apps like Desktop Sidebar with transparency.

***UPDATE*** Apparently, the library doesn't refresh on its own. What i had to do was go into the "Skin Updates Manager" and right click on the desired library and choose "Refresh" from the context menu. That seems to work. What really should happen here though is that the library should refresh on its own each time a library page is opened or the sort order is changed. Thanks for the reply. In my version of WCB, "options" seems to have been changed to "preferences".

Wincustomize browser issue in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

I have my Wincustomize Browser set to display by last updated. When i visit the libraries, (like windowblinds) the skins are not updating. I still see the same skins that were there a week ago. I checked the web site from another browser and alas, the updated skins are there. What gives with the wincustomize browser?

Backgrounds in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

I know this is stupid but, how do you set the background (wallpaper?) for a new theme? Forgive my ignorance. I just started using desktop x and I need to know this (I think) because I would like to have the ability to right click on the desktop to get into desktop x builder while the theme is running. Floating Dock in ObjectDock WinCustomize Forums

Just thinking that it would be nice to be able to freely position the regular docks,(as opposed to the tabbed docks), anywhere on the desktop rather than only being able to position them along the top, bottom, left or right. I can do this with the tabbed docks but not the regular docks. I have a windowblinds skin (Windows XP Style) running to keep the overall look of most of my applications like traditional xp luna. However, i am using the application specific option to skin Photoshop CS with Mac OS X Tiger. When i do this, Photoshop has the beige color backgrounds in the file explorer and in the sub menus like the Windows XP Style instead of the white as in Mac OS X Tiger. Hi; I have two questions. 1.) Is there a way to supply a plain colored wallpaper as the default wallpaper (One that loads when you start windows and have WindowBlinds load at boot.) if there is no wallpaper supplied with the current WindowBlinds theme. 2.) Is there a way to control individual sounds. Such as disabling or changing the sound for the close button but leave the rest as they are? Thanks in advance: Jon......
