[quote who="Exitalterego" reply="13" id="2706608"]I'm in agreement for the idea of a 'skippable' deployment phase. For small armies that you don't mind sacrificing the hassle of full deployment seems redundant but for a large force sent against an enemy city led by your sovereign, strategic deployment could be the difference between winning and losing. Of course, if this was implemented, it would raise the question of who deploys first? Does the attacker re

Excellent Guide. You might want to make a note though, you don't Need to put everything in the "Units" folder for the game to see it. I put my Custom Map Sizes into the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock Games\Elemental\data\English" directory and it works just fine from there.

Hello my fellow Modders and friends, As I'm sure you'd all like to know, work on the Dragonlance Mod is progressing slowly but surely. I've been plugging away on the world map and some custom tiles (though the tile editor keeps crashing on me). Realistically I'm still at least a month or two away from a 1.0 release, maybe longer if I can't find the models I need. As I've mentioned before, 3D Modeling is Not one of my strong suits. Skins

It shows some nice polish on the UI that I can see, particularly in the Sov's status on the lower left hand side. Frogboy's playing on a HUGE map and it looks stable too.

I don't think they'd make such a big deal about it if they didn't even know the rocks came from Mars. Finding microbes of long dead life on a random space rock doesn't reall

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, there Has Been ONE signal received from deep space that we haven't been able to identify yet. So far we've had more then a few "close calls" when someone at SETI would announce they found a signal. Back in the 70's Russia claimed to have been the first to pick up alien broadcasts, and then a few years later England claimed to have found 3 in succession. Later of course we found out that ALL the signals were coming from "Pulsars". Pulsars emit a high band radio t

Frogboy's response to my initial question, though, has filled me with doubt. I just wish he'd give us the straight answer and information we want so people can stop arguing, lol. I didn't want to demand or request or start any XML debates, I was just curious. His response "In an XML editor." (not exact words) made me

I hear they're making a new X-Files movie though so maybe there's hopes for another good one left in the series. Still though, that doesn't answer the question of your opinion on the subject, Doc :P . What do you think? Is there other intelligent life out there somewhere?

UFO's and Aliens. Do they exist? Do you think there's even a chance that there is other intelligent life in our galaxy or universe or do you think we Humans are the only intelligent life in all of creation? These are questions that we as a species, man-kind, have asked since as far as our recorded history goes back.
