Just thought of something...you cant recreate the artifact spell. In one of the dev journal's Boogiebac mentioned that they dont think theyll have time for in-game editing tools. However, it sounded like something he wanted to do so maybe in an expansion?
Both the Men and the Fallen will share the same world. I dont think their is any intentions in having an alternate plane of existence. However, the question is...is it moddable? Not sure. I dont see why it wouldnt be though. If we can create dungeon maps...it's almost the same thing right? You just create an outside map instead of an inside map and just mod in a warp point on both maps. Works easy enough in RPG Maker anyways...
IThis brings me to a question I have. How much can we "parallel" Lord of the Rings? Will we be able to infuse essence into our keep/tower/fortress/etc to make it nearly indestrucable?
Oh man!!! Wouldn't a nearly indestructable tower be awesome? It would be a cool "final stand" scenario where the enemy couldnt necessarily destroy you're channler but your stuck in the tower because you're surrounded. Maybe you c
I defnitely think most of it can be modded...especially the spells and units. The only thing I'm unsure of is the "alternate plane of existence." We don't know if that type of feature is in the game.
have you seen me somewhere CapnWinky (there is a picture of my back somewhere with my old hair-cut... or more accurate hair-collection since it hadn't been cut in a while in that pic. However, unlike any pic of Charles manson I've ever seen, it was down past my shoulders, and I didn't have a beard)
Just kiddin' Landi. It was just a funny thing he posted. I had to jump in. I saw you in the video but that was it.
My initital idea was to make it your keep. So, you'd be limited 1x per player. Although...I like some of the alternate ideas mentioned above!
I really hope we will be able to mod some tall crazy looking towers for our Channler's to hang out in. The normal keeps I see in the screenshots are cool but man...I want this..... http://img-nex.theonering.net/images/scrapbook/4492.jpg
(I'm only half serious. Half???? In any event, I don't think that my parents would enjoy me going on a long road trip with some guy I met on the Web.... they'd proabalby assume you were Charles Manson or something....
HAHAHA! [e digicons][/e] Well, he kinda looks like em. Just kidding, Landi
Holy crap! I just realized this was in Seattle! WHOOHOO! I live on an island just 30 minutes west of Seattle. I definitely have to go to this!
Thanks for the update, Brad!
Do you think a paper rock scissors system would work here? I believe that's how GalCiv2 and Civ4 (to some extent) do it.
Next question, will there be a real difference between an axe, sword, and spear, or is it just aesthetics? If it isn't aesthetics, won't there be a clear best weapon? Personally, I'd almost rather it be aesthetics.
Another excellent question!
Has there been any talk on what type of weapons will be in the game? Swords/bow&arrows are obviously in judging from the screenshots. What about staves, halbreds, spears, daggers, crossbows, hammers, axes etc.
Has there been any talk if these items will be included in the game? Not only for the Channler but for custom units as well...
Oh my god. This is Hellgate: London all over again. I can't convey how this absolutely killed E:WoM for me, just now. Completely. I no longer harbor any hope whatsoever for this game.
I still have hope but it's a huge kick in the arse. I'm defnitely not as excited as I was. I feel like Im being punished for liking multiplayer
Hands down, CAMP 1 PLLEEAASSEE!!!
I was really looking forward to p2p & hotseat! Bummer news...
Looks good! I look forward to playing your mods!
I agree with NT. I would have liked the variation. All human races just seem boring...especially in a fantasy setting. Probably my only complaint thus far. Not a hater though...we can just mod them in.
A fellow Fark browser, eh? I just saw that a few minutes ago, it's amusing.
Hell yeah :D Love it!

Damn you, Demigod multiplayer...Free up the Devs!
I wonder if that is just 8 human players? Or 8 players max? Wouldnt 8 be too small for a 64 bit map?
How many people will be allowed to participate in multiplayer on any given map? It would seem to me the number of players it should support should be far greater than Civ4.
